The apartment was lovely and the beds comfy. The location of the apartment was within walking distance to everything in the historical district. Breakfast was delicious (wayyyyy too much food though... we felt wasteful not being able to eat all of it). The apartment was on the 5th floor with no lift so as it was a treacherous 92 stairs up, 92 stairs down. I would have liked to have known about that before arrival because my friend traveling with me was older.. outside of that, it was great.

I really enjoyed my stay at My Ribeira Guest House! I booked a 2 bedroom apt for my family (4 of us) and it was great; the apt was spacious and clean with good WiFi. The mini kitchen even had some plates and utensils for us to use. The location is prime, and breakfast was a fixed menu consisting of delicious foods like fresh orange juice, yogurt with fruit and granola, coffee, eggs, and pastries. The host was very communicative with me and kind. Some things to note, there’s no elevator just stairs to all apts and the shower stall was a tight fit. Overall, highly recommend this amazing find!

You need to aware it is next to a tunnel which can be noisey during the late evening, otherwise a great place to stay and the staff were lovely.
