When I first arrived my room was average in cleanliness. And my extra bedding didn’t smell fresh. The cleaning standard was very poor after the first day. Luckily I kept everything very tidy, but I needed to do that bit extra in cleaning.
The rooms need updating. I had asked for a walk in shower well in advance, but that didn’t happen, I had to ask for a non slip bath mat as I felt unsafe, as I struggle to get in and out of a bath. I enjoyed the holiday, I have stayed at the Jabega many times, but I feel the room standards have dropped.

I had booked a beach view apartment only to be given a side view apartment so was a disappointment. I had requested to be on a lower floor for mobility issues but again this wasn't available. It was a lovely stay though and central.

Second visit within one month. We put up with the room allocation on the first visit, very outdated and at the back with no views at all.
Due to the excellent location of the hotel, we booked again and were very surprised to find that we were in the same room, but two floors higher. The room was also a little smaller. The noise from other peoples aircon through the bedroom window was very loud.
No use complaining as we heard lots of guests so doing to no avail. The reception staff are not interested.
Suffice to say we will be staying somewhere else in future.
