I loved how vintage everything was, all the little details we so beautiful. The glassware and plate settings were absolutely perfect and to the point. These people know exactly how to host
The room we chose was a bit tight as it was on the second floor but it was cosy non the less

Really charming guesthouse with friendly and welcoming staff, situated in the heart of Franschhoek. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is a delicious spread!
Just something small but dry walls mean you can hear every little noise from the room next door

Breakfast was nice, place was clean.
There were very limited bathing facilities. There was a bath in the room and we were told it could not be used as it was not a bath facility. The shower only lasted for less than 2 minutes and not enough time to even wash ones hair. My daughter stood in the shower covered in shampoo and the water stopped. Not even enough time for a full shower.
We were asked beforehand if we were OK with a bath in the room and we said we were.
Very disappointing for the family who were getting ready for a formal ocassion.

A beautiful property with lovely attention to detail by the delightful owners. The breakfasts were exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable and appreciated having a fridge and tv in the room too. Being located right by the centre was a boon. Thankyou for a relaxing break

Excellent location and very warm welcome from our hosts. Great view from our private balcony. Breakfast by the pool was very pleasant and friendly. Elsa and Jaco really make you feel at home.

Location excellent, very hospitable. Lovely breakfast, sat out in the shady garden.
Dated bedrooms, with velux windows and shower and sink actually in the same space as the bedroom. More space to hang towels would be appreciated.

This is a great base to explore Franschhoek, we really valued our stay even though it was only for two nights. We had helpful correspondence with Elsa prior to staying to ensure our room was suitable, and it was! This was a very comfortable and well priced place to stay to enjoy the wine region.

Fantastische Lage im Städtchen und einliebevoll zubereitet es Frühstück. Schön ist auch das historische Interieur.
Das interessante alte Gebäude riecht etwas feucht und muffig, das Frühstück gibt es nur bis 9:30 Uhr, wer auf den letzten Pfiff kommt, erntet Missfallen.

The service was excellent and Elsa and Jaco were so welcoming. Excellent location - close to main road. Loved the breakfast. Lovely bedding. Loved the inclusion of coffee, rusks and sherry in the bedroom.
The dry walls are really not noise-friendly, so be prepared to be kept awake if you have loud or nocturnal neighbours.

Everything. Guest house is well maintained and has an interesting history. The room was comfortable and the bathroom adequate and spotless. Our hosts and the staff were friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was really good. We can recommend Centre-Ville without reservations.
