AVOID! Don’t trust this facility cause we did and now we are trying for 3 consecutive days to claim our money back with no response. For no reason - 1 month before our stay- they have charged us 100 euros more and they don’t know the reason why! They even charged us - when we where checking out - for things that we never consumed. We didn’t say sth at that time cause we where in a hurry to catch the plane but now EVERYTHING makes sense. Trying to make money from mocking tourists.

Breakfast was very good for this area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a great location except it is alittle noisy next to a very busy intersection of town.

Easy and convenient place to stay for one night before a domestic flight to Ha'apai. Easy to book online, great pick-up service from the airport and helped out with onward transport. Good breakfast and let us hang around after checkout until we needed to leave.
Short (10-15 minute) walk to some of the restaurants on the waterfront strip.

Wonderful hotel for a stay in Tonga. Clean, good comfort and AC. Good pricing. Very friendly staff and they also own a taxi and can give you an island tour.
That the "shuttle service" comes with extra costs was not clearly stated in booking.com as with other hotels in the area. It's the usual taxi price and will be booked on request.

The staffs were so friendly and welcoming. Shout out to them for their kind heart and they took a good care of me during my stay. The breakfast was good and lovely.

Really nice, hard working staff. Very clean and well maintained. Air conditioner worked great. Hot water and pressure was adequate. Breakfast was more than enough for me. Good location.

Considering the breakfast was included in the price we paid for our rooms, it made things financially convenient for us, especially for the children we traveled with. Lovely and friendly service from all staff we came across and also the Owners are very welcoming.
Not much to dislike as House of tonga met my expectations, location wise it is located in a busy roundabout so for future families with active children just to be mindful otherwise, would highly recommend house of Tonga

The price on Booking.com is misleading. The confirmed price was 490 TOP for 3 nights, 2 guests. The hotel then used another exchange rate which raised the price to 521 TOP. They also added 4% in "bank fees" on top of that. Expect to pay about 10% higher price than what you see on Booking.com. That might be okay if you have a large budget but it can cause major problems if you don't.
