Super friendly staff; great restaurant that honours local food; nicely renovated rooms with beautiful views of Parksville beach. Clean and dog-friendly! Can’t beat it for the money.

Easy to find, good parking (in off-season, at least). Lobby was clean and had a water bowl for the doggos which was a nice touch. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nespresso and cream in the room - yes please! Very much appreciated. TV worked, wifi was included but we never used it so can’t speak to speeds. Rooms were fairly quiet even though the hotel was quite full. Couldn’t hear through walls but sometimes heard the odd door close. Lots of dogs but never heard any barking. Located right on the beach - gorgeous. Liked the little to-go coffee shop on site. All in all a pleasant stay.

Check in process was slow - unfortunately only one person checking people in and a lineup of at least 5 people so that took some time. it was later in the evening so I get having less staff but should have been at least some crossover or someone to support during surge times. Was assigned 3rd floor then informed we couldn’t have that room because dogs can only go to 2nd floor. So then had to wait some more for the room to be changed. On checkout, process was smooth. Requested emailed receipt. Should have gotten it printed because I still haven’t received a receipt but was charged at least $20+ more than what booking.com told me I’d be charged. Soooo not super happy about that.

I like this property’s location. In front of the ocean. The best in Town.

Only think is that the washroom is not wheelchair accessible. It’s tight.

The view from the room and access to the beach. The fact that there was a gym. It was clean and renovated. The outside patio is nice but could use more comfy furniture with cushions and blankets when it is in the shade.

The walls and floors are very thin so you can hear everything. Doors slamming, people walking around on the suite above and next door. The gym equipment needs to be replaced, it is very old. The weight benches fabric is cracked and the one mat is old and cracked.

The property was in a great location right on the ocean. The resort was very clean, nicely decorated and friendly staff.
