Spa was amazing and breakfast at Forte was very well done, kids 5 and under eat free. I also loved that we brought 3 kids and my husband and I still enjoyed a day at the spa as they have childcare. The kids really enjoyed popcorn and PJ and the other activity times!

Amazing amenities. Great spot for kids abs a lot of things to do on property. Market Cafe is amazing in the morning. Forte for dinner was top notch.

A little bit pricy for being so far away from everything. Located about an hour from a lot of the things we wanted to do.

For the price per night we were expecting all the amenities to be open/useful. Steam room was closed. Kids squirt things were broken. No cups at the water cooler. Controllers for game room dead. Ping pong balls broken. Lots of disappointment for the kids. Seems like little things… but this is what set the lodge apart from other places and we pay extra to get those things

Breakfast buffet is very nice. Not included in room rate. Beautiful location with lovely trail.

Food and wine were outrageously expensive. Not enough dining facilities for the amount of guests. Bathrooms at and area around swimming pools were dirty. Did not service room if you didn’t notice that you had to select a time on your door sign and hand it in at front desk. No extra coffee creamer etc. even if booked for 4 people.

Food was excellent quality. Water park including the indoor/outdoor hot tub were a nice surprise. Great walking/skiing paths all around

Nordic Spa was a lovely treat. Just a note that it was packed in the mornings. I actually thought that since I booked a specific time/date, the number of people entering the spa would be limited but that was not the case. I went later in the day ....which limited how long I could stay there as the spa closes at 8 or 9 pm. It was definitely less crowded after 4 pm. I'm glad I went...my favourites included the Eucalyptus steam room and the beautiful mountain views from the pools.

it was family friendly yet classy

We had a fantastic time celebrating our daughter's birthday & our anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special from a room upgrade to special drinks & dessert at Forte. The Waterpark was the icing on the cake! Even with an extreme cold warning we had so much fun at the lodge. We will definitely be back to this beautiful Alberta Gem!

Brunch was exceptional, I appreciated all the gluten free menu options you have. We also really appreciated the chrome cast on the TV as it allowed for family movie nights. The pool area was a great hit and the staff were very helpful.

Cost especially the food was extremely high. The room rate was high for what we used it for but the food was the real struggle. Our family of four with one kid free still cost over $70 for every meal and we don’t order alcohol. Dinner the one night for just appitizers and two kids meals was $150! Even breakfast from the cafe cost me $60 to feed the four of us. I felt the only meal that seemed reasonable value was the brunch. We paid $25 a day for resort fee and found that all the extra activities we were interested in all cost even more money.
