Das Personal an der Rezeption ist nett, aber das ist in Kanada generell üblich.

Falls jemand überlegt direkt nach Hinton zu fahren um da ein Hotel zu buchen, dem würde ich das empfehlen. In Miette Mountain Cabins gibt es eine extreme Mückenplage. Abends kann man ohne Mückenspray nicht draußen sitzen. Das kann man sich allerdings für 16 CAD an der Rezeption kaufen. Ein Restaurant gibt es nicht. Die gesamte Terrasse unserer Cabin war dreckig, so dass man keine Lust hatte, sich draußen hinzusetzen. An der Badezimmerwand muss ein Vorgänger eine Mücke erschlagen haben, dieser Fleck war immer noch zu sehen. Das Sofa war dreckig. Die Fenster waren dreckig. Die Lampe im Badezimmer war staubig. Es gab keine Klimaanlage, dafür waren ca. 30 Grad in der Cabin bei einer Außentemperatur von ebenfalls 30 Grad. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier definitiv nicht gegeben. Da haben wir für weniger Geld schon tausendmal besser in Kanada geschlafen. Übrigens wer Pech hat und eine Cabin am Straßenrand ergattert, der bekommt gleich noch richtig Straßenlärm auf die Ohren.

30+ mins away from literally anything. Food in the on site store was way too expensive to consider. $25+ for a cold sandwich? Common.. But bring your own and you’re set. Definitely not a deal breaker

I loved everything about these cute little cabins.

I can't really say I didn't like anything. The cabin was just as described. I was prepared we traveled with our dog so we had to make most of our meals in the cabin. It was stocked with the essentials. Pots pans, dishes...

The beds were excellent! Staff was as well. Cabins are simply beautiful!

With no restaurant on site the kitchen needs a few more cookware items. We made the best of it.

very dark interior , not a lot of lighting especially in bedrooms

Check-in was super helpful when I forgot about the time difference when driving from BC, they were accomodating of my late check-in. Super cute log cabins, out of town so you are surrounded by nature. I went for a jog in the morning around the Miette Upper Loop trail across the road, it was very pretty at the top of the lookout and some of the old mining relics were interesting. The hot tub and communal BBQs and communal rec-room were a nice thing to have even though I didn't use them. Staff were great, room was great, they were doing some upgrades to the facilities while I was staying there, it didn't effect me at all and was good to see they are keeping the place up to date.

You couldn't hear the cars on the highway but if you are a light sleeper you may hear the trucks.

its 30 minutes drive from jasper and in the middle of nowhere. We loved that but just note its a drive from the restaurants and bars
