We are told that we got upgraded with our reservation and it turned out that Our room was next to elevator .🤦🏻‍♀️ Bathroom missing vanity shelves for ladies’ convenience.

Rooms are huge by NYC standards! Great location close to Central Park and so many good restaurants.

Our first room had small window looking onto alleyway and so was terribly dark. We moved after 2 nights - although had been trying to move since we checked in - staff tried their best but it was a shame they couldn't accomodate us with a different room on arrival as we were staying for 8 nights and had 2 rooms. Francelle on the front desk was super helpful in making it happen eventually for us though. Big queues to get free pastry and coffee for breakfast each morning - would be good if they had seating in the lobby for you to take your breakfast there - rather than having to eat in your room.

The check-in process was very easy and the room was clean and comfortable. We were given a voucher for breakfast the next day and we were pleasantly surprised that it covered a coffee and a pastry at the bakery next door.

Everything was fine.

The hotel provided exactly what we asked for. A place to rest and sleep. The room was nice clean and comfortable. There is a subway station just two blocks from the hotel..lots of restaurants, the Central Park close by. It is not in the center of town but it is.on one of the main streets of Manhattan. 😄

Excellent location, and the baked goods at the french bakery were amazing. Especially the almond croissants. We were celebrating my Mother’s 65th birthday with 4 nights at Belleclaire, and the staff generously surprised us with a card and cupcakes to our room. We had a great time, and I will come back to this hotel next time in NYC, for sure!

La situation de l'hôtel est excellente, proche du métro et dans un quartier calme et reposant.

La chambre était très petite. Le petit déjeuner compris n'en est pas un, on a accès qu'à une boulangerie, pas de fruits, pas de salé, seulement des viennoiseries. Le ticket de 10 euros pour le petit déjeuner ne couvre qu'un café et un croissant pas plus. il n'y a pas de salon, le salon est seulement accessible pour les consommateurs du bar et du restaurant, on s'est fait refoulé un soir alors qu'on voulait s'y rendre pour attendre que notre chambre soit nettoyée car cela n'avait pas été fait dans la journée. ce n'était pas agréable de se faire refouler du salon alors que l'on est client de l'hôtel.

This boutique hotel is an older prewar building, but the rooms and common areas were nicely updated and clean. The hotel bar and restaurant, Allure, was beautifully decorated, but the drinks there were just okay; appetizers were quite good. A pastry cafe, Mille-Feuille Bakery Café, was attached to the hotel lobby, which was great for grabbing coffee (the latte was particularly good) and freshly baked pastries. We were given vouchers there for our stay. The hotel is close to the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park and has several good places to eat nearby. I have no complaints whatsoever. However, it's worth noting that walking to Fifth Ave, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, or any midtown location is quite a distance but doable, especially on a nice day. It's best to grab a cab for those areas. All in all, I would stay at Hotel Belleclaire Central Park again. Compared to many hotels in NYC, it is a hidden Gem of a hotel!

The location is great. Close to the subway and bus stops. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Everyone who worked there were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The vouchers to the bakery and restaurant were a very nice touch. I enjoyed the food at both places.

The bathroom was extremely small and the shower was very difficult to navigate. Placing the on/off in the back of the shower wasn’t the best idea as it’s hard to turn it on and not get water everywhere while adjusting the temperature.

Die Bäckerei Lösung , geht nicht auf. Es ist immer voll, eng und ungemütlich.zwar schmeckt das Gebäck sehr gut aber der Kaffee gar nicht. Außerdem sind 10 $Gutschein Wert , tatsächlich nix, dafür dass das Hotel — mit Frühstück — angegeben wird.

Das Hotel Personal , sprich Rezeption ist unfreundlich und schlecht gelaunt.

Excellent location, blocks away from central park, natural history museum and the subway. We were up on the 9th floor and did not hear any street noise except for one or two very loud sirens.

Breakfast is vouchers for a cafe next door - the line can stretch back through the lobby, so timing your trip to get your morning coffee and pastry is essential (8:30 was ok, forget it at 9). No coffee maker in the room.

The coffee bars and patisserie were nice The little coffee stand for the overflow was also a nice touch right outside of elevators.

The rooms were absolutely tiny and not super clean, especially the bathroom w/the windows in the bathroom that were covered in dirt. They also closed the bar one night due to a private party. So I'd check before counting on snacks and drinks if you are checking in late. One elevator was out of commission) during the holidays which created a little too much congestion on top of that they were also tiny.

2.600$ per 7 notti non li vale. Set cortesia, dato solo una volta. Asciugamani e lenzuola mai cambiate. Pigiami lasciati sul letto alla rinfusa. Non è così che agisce un hotel serio. Inoltre, la “colazione inclusa” sarebbe un buono da 10$ nella caffetteria dell’albergo, e non è sufficiente nemmeno per un cappuccino con una brioche.

Malgré la situation, il faisait calme dans la chambre. Pour ce que nous avions reservé l'hotel était bien positionné. Mention très très spéciale pour le petit déjeuner !!!

Se proprio devo trovare un lato negativo, direi gli ascensori. Quando siamo andati noi uno era in manutenzione e gli altri due erano utilizzati anche dallo staff quindi bisognava pazientare un po’. Ma stando in vacanza non avevamo fretta!

"Brekfast" is ridiculous. Huge waiting lines in the cafe next door to get a croissant is not a "breakfast". Consider there is NO breakfast.

Room was ok.

Extremely noisy, every time someone flushed a toilet either in the room next to me or above me, or below me, I heard it very loudly. It was very hard to sleep.

Das Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen. Eine U-Bahnstation, ein Drogeriemarkt, gute Restaurants (z.B. das Jing Fong) und der Central Park sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal war supernett und das Haus und das Zimmer verfügte über eine saubere und schöne Ausstattung. Keine Störungen von Nachbarn. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Das gebuchte Frühstück bestand aus einem 10 $ Gutschein, den man in der neben dem Hotel gelegenen Kleinbäckerei mit teilweise langer Wartezeit in einer Schlange einlösen konnte. Bei den New Yorker Preisen bekommt man dafür einen großen Kaffee und ein Croissant/Zimtschnecke oder ähnliche Teilchen. Wer also Frühstücksbuffet erwartet oder eine mehrköpfige Familie satt bekommen möchte wird hier herbe enttäuscht. An den zwei kleinen Aufzügen wartet man zum Teil eine gefühlte Ewigkeit.

Good location on the upper west side. Rooms have been renovated, after the last mayor turned it into a homeless shelter during Covid. Staff was excellent

For two days the bedroom was not that clean. Thanks to the people at the reception who solved the problem.
