Happy we made it safe was able to rest after a long drive.
I was called concerning my booking while driving from DC to the hotel. Not a friendly conversation when I booked I called the hotel to explained I had put four rooms on hold through booking.com with the option pay at the property, that each person will pay for there own rooms when we arrive, I made sure to give the hotel advance notice before our arrival . We came down for a family cruise with 11 children. I was told when I called it’s okay no problem. But after receiving a nasty phone call telling me if we don’t reach them at 6 pm they will be cancelled. I explained the drive was a long one and we might be a little late. This was so disappointing being told we had to rush. The only good part about this was we got there just in time. I book with this hotel all the time never experienced any type of phone call like this yelling at me telling me they going to contact booking.com to cancel our rooms if we didn’t arrive by six. The phone call was to get the other four people credit cards to pay for our rooms in advance because the card I put them on hold with declined the deposit. I never had this issue with this hotel out off all my booking. I was so stressed about the issue I spoke with the manager on duty when we arrived she explained she hard the conversation and apologized for being yelled at by an employee. If you believe that’s how a paying guest whom have been booking at your hotel should be treated then your employee should be awarded for having people to rush to arrive on time anything could have happened to us trying to get there but she was not concerned with that even do I tried to explain we was coming and on our way. Very unhappy how I was treated on the phone on our day of arrival.

The fact that we were told we couldn't be checked in because the computers were down but that didn't stop them from charging my card for a nights stay that didn't happen. Luckily Holiday Inn Express accommodated us.

The location was perfect for our needs. Having several restaurants and food options so close was a huge plus! The staff were great and very accommodating. The breakfasts were pretty good, with a great rotation of food options every morning, so you didn't feel like you were eating the same food everyday. The room was good sized, with TONS of storage and space for all our personal items.
There was only one washer and dryer for laundry in the hotel. It would have been nice to have several to use. Especially since you could only fill the washer halfway...it made doing laundry more time consuming. We were staying for a tournament nearby and HAD to wash team jerseys almost every evening of our stay....as were several other people. There was always a line of people trying to get their stuff washed. Ultimately we ended up taking our clothing to a nearby laundromat instead. It isn't a make or break complaint....it just would be more convenient to stay and do our laundry at the hotel.

Close to the interstate and other shopping venues.
The toilet in the rooms are extremely low to the floor. Need to have toilets slightly higher to accommodate all sizes and disabilities.

The room was nice but for the price I’ve stayed in better
I had a reservation almost a year in advance when I arrived at the facility I was given a room on the 5th floor which is the top floor of the hote. The room was located at the end of the hallway by the stairs. The next closest occupied room appeared to be 2 doors away.

Excellent location right off of the highway. Good restaurants very close nearby (walking distance) to the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was very good! Several people working in the breakfast area to keep it stocked and clean. Food was fresh and plentiful. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Recently renovated room and bathroom.
The main drawback was the remodeling and construction going on at the hotel. I was not aware of this. I wish I had been warned. I think they should note it on the website or hotel description. I would have properly still booked the hotel but advance notice would have been nice.

I didn’t like the fact that they were doing construction at hotel on 3rd floor. I never would have booked there if I had known that. The second night of our stay the fire alarms went off 3 times due to main water break so got no sleep that night and no showers the next morning. The first night there when I turned the shower on there was red sediment in the water so had to let the shower run for awhile then clean out the tub before we could shower. When I told the front desk that they just said it was because they had been working on the water lines like it was no big deal. After complaining in the morning we were reassured that they would reimburse us for one night this did not happen without me making numerous phone calls. Needless to say I will never consider staying there again!!

Comfortable room, including the bed. Excellent quality coffee and tea available in the breakfast area, and the variety of included breakfast food was really good too; including fried egg, sausage, hash brown, fruit, cereal, breads, yogurt etc
Despite the hotel undergoing some renovations on the 3rd floor which meant the laundry service was unavailable, there wasn’t too much wrong with this hotel at all; just the water pressure was a bit on the low side in the bathroom, especially for the sink.

The hotel was under construction, our room we already redone but was done poorly and things were unfinished. Our TV didn't work, they tried to fix it, worked for a few minutes then didn't work the rest of our stay. They say they would compensate our room for the all the problems we had but when we went t check out they stated they couldn't do anything about it since we booked through Booking.com

We were extremely happy with our stay here. In fact we extended our visit for a second night. Restaurants were close. Excellent breakfast on site. They are doing some remodeling but no noise nor issues for us.

easy to locate .. convenient for our route to Fort Lauderdale.
old hotel undergoing refurbishment. work didn’t effect our stay but lift was like a building site. used the stairs!
We were charged $18 for a phone call to another Hampton inn in pompano to arrange the next stay. we expected this to be a free local call. kept on hold by reception staff whilst making booking.
very disappointed charge not removed on check out.
