Pillows... that was the only part of our stay that was horrible. They aren't very comfortable.

free parking

Facility smelled like smoke on both nights and it was reported to the front desk however it does not seem as if anything was done. The mattress was absolutely horrible we had to flip it over and turn it and it was still terrible.

the room itself was comfortable and clean and the guy at the desk when we checked out was super friendly (even though nobody else really was..)

it took what felt like forever to even get in our room. we didn’t get the room we paid for, and the keycards wouldn’t work. we paid for a disability shower and were told it was “unavailable” and just got placed a different room with no compensation. the staff in the beginning were decently rude and the entire building didn’t really look like the pictures at all. we were also told our room would overlook the Kentucky kingdom park and it did not. it overlooked an empty parking lot.

Convenient to the highway

Location was convenient to the Kentucky exposition center and fairgrounds. There was plenty of parking available for both cars as well as trailers.

Everything from arrival through checkout was sub par. The front desk couldn’t be bothered to smile during check in or check out. The door didn’t close without lifting the handle. There were plumbing issues in the bathroom leaving a puddle when we arrived. There was no toilet paper or body wash/soap in the bathroom. I asked twice for soap and never received it. The hallways and room smelled musty when they didn’t smell of marijuana. There were awkward people in the parking lot who approached my wife and I to tell us about vehicle and trailer break-ins and theft.

there were an ant problem. also when checking out they couldn’t check us out so we that was a little weird so the lady was nice to take a picture and of the final price.

The only good thing about this property was it was close by where we was going.

The staff was not very helpful, apparently they have gone through some management changes. There are no security cameras up. New manager, Jerry, doesn’t really care about his customers. We had items stolen from our motorcycle. The front desk clerk that morning didn't really know how to respond. He had to call a coworker to get the managers phone number. When he got a hold of the manager, Jerry, he told the clerk he had went to sleep at 5am and the customers problems had to wait. He told us there was nothing he could do for us and we could call the cops if we wanted. The only security camera they have is on the back of the building, where they have a shed that people have tried to break into a few times.

I didnt like that when i checked in no one was at the desk at 330 pm for 10 whole mins. After we checked in we went to our room and the staff was still cleaning the room. I returned downstairs to asked for another room. Which we got but it was so funky. I had to leave and buy incensed a d candles..smelled like a dirty mop, or like mildew. Or like animal peed all in carpet. And out side my door way was the stair case where staff pile trash in and it was so funky. I had to call and asked for it to be removed
