it was ok

the room was really gross black mold in the bathroom peeling paint. no clean towels and dirty towel left in the room. the refrigerator wasn’t cleaned out and had some rotten food in it. the bathtub felt like you were going to fall threw walls in the room were gross as well. smelt like smoke and dog.

The breakfast wasn't what I expected all cold food, but we went down early and i don't think they had put anything out but we were in the hours specified.

The pool wasn't up and running. Elevator was needing some attention.

The hotel was filthy, the bed sheets had stains on it, the whirlpool was missing buttons, the smoke detector were missing batteries, on the web site it offered a swimming pool but it was closed! The room was missing toilet paper!

My husband was unable to stay at this location because when he went to check in they said the “system was down and they couldn’t check him in”. I had prepaid through booking.com. Although I had called ahead a time to verify his check-in and was sure everything was a go, I had no idea this would happen. the solution proposed to us was to cancel booking.com and then rebook with the hotel directly. when I told them I couldn’t cancel the booking.com reservation I was then told I should have booked through the hotel directly and this wouldn’t have been a problem. So I drove 1.5 hours and picked up my husband at 2am and we drove home and paid for a room through booking.com that this hotel would not honor with the excuse “they system was down and there was nothing they could do”.
