Thr service was great. Room location very nice. Location of hotel excellent.
Bedding didn’t fit bed and came untucked and had to straighten the sheets a couple times during the night. Made it for a restless night.
Traffic noise.

Location is wonderful and room size very comfortable
I requested a late check out for noon when I checked in and they said they wouldn’t be a problem. The next morning I got multiple phone calls saying I was late to check out and it was 11:15am. I told them I had arranged a late checkout and they said they didn’t have it in their system and I had to leave in the next 15-20 min. Then as I was packing a maintenance person tried to enter the room even though I had a do not disturb sign up.
I had also received a receipt at 3am via email confirming my 12 o’clock check out which they said they didn’t have in their system.
It was very frustrating and unsettling to have someone try to enter my room when I had been told I had permission to stay.
Caution if you request a late check out be prepared it might not get honored.
The maintenance person was not at fault but I was very disappointed in the attitude of the manager who said she didn’t understand how I got the confirmation when they didn’t have it in their systems. She did apologize but it left a sour taste after what would have been a very nice time away. I will reconsider staying here in the future.

Everything was great!! The front desk staff was amazing and so friendly!! The breakfast was great. It was so close to everything. The room was very clean and spacious. The stay was great.

The staff was quick to answer, friendly, and very helpful. Our room was great and very spacious traveling with our 2 month old baby. It was in a great location and walking distance to everything.
Nothing to do with the hotel, only that parking either in the street or garages can be expensive every day.

It was walking distance to nice stores and restaurants on the water. The rooms were really nice with all utensils, dishwasher full-size fridge and electric stove. Pet friendly, very clean rooms and helpful friendly staff
Valet parking was $40 per night, and street metered parking was 9 am to 8 pm hours 1-3 $2 per hour, and 4+ hours $5 per hour. After 8 pm, it was free but almost impossible to find a spot

They were very accommodating and valued our groups wishes of being next to each other. And they were very polite with bringing us extra supplies
Some of the staff were very rude. Our group got in trouble for “breaking the elevator”. It had an 8 person max, and when we went on it (there was 9- so one more over the limit) supposedly the “fail safe” kicked in. We apologized to staff however one female manager was very rude and continued to make us feel bad for it.
It turned out the elevator was 2 months past it’s inspection date. It was supposed to be inspected back in May, which I don’t think had anything to do with it “breaking” but I don’t think we should’ve been ridiculed when it wasn’t properly taken care of either

Loved the facilities as this was our first time. Absolutely loved that. It was so centralized to everything around us so that we could walk and not drive. We just fell in love with the entire Portsmouth Area!

Location was excellent. Short walk to everything around town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great to have complimentary breakfast but to could be improved

Staff was great. Bedding and bed were clean and comfortable. The location was great for walking around Portsmouth and easy to get to many restaurants and stores. The size of our room was nice.
The cleanliness of the room upon arrival was not up to par. It was clear the appliances and some surfaces were not cleaned prior to our arrival. Carpet and couch had stains. The air conditioner was very noisy so we didn't use it and just opened windows.

The location is perfect and close to all the local restraunts and bars. Everything is walking distants. Everyone at the front desk is kind and always smiling.
The only issue is that the elevator call button was broken so you had to call down to the front desk to have someone send it up. But that was usually a quick progress.

You can hear the people in adjoining rooms taking and the guests staying above you, can hear them waking around. Also heard the neighbors dog barking a lot.
