Westhaven Inn was nothing fancy but it was clean and quiet. We were going to Apple Hill and the location was very convenient!

It could use an update on things - like the carpet and the bedspread - just to make it look brighter and more inviting.

Once again, the Westhaven Inn proved to be a great value. Very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for us to be close to our family when we visit. Only 10 minutes to Placerville, 50 minutes to Sacramento and 45 minutes to South Lake Tahoe. Rooms are large and include a microwave and coffee pot. They also have a room with a walk-in shower which made showering much easier for my mother-in-law in the room we reserved for her. We will continue to stay here and recommend it to everyone!

would be nice to see some energy efficiency upgrades e.g better windows and heat pumps

Restroom in need of updating to match cost of room. Otherwise had a good rest there.

Bathroom. Some mold in grouting around bathtub.

I liked the snow and the place of the property.

Beds are very hard

very large room, and bathroom. Plus had a semi private back deck with slider. fairly quiet. A/C unit was surprisingly quiet compared to many wall units that I’ve encountered at budget motels over the years. Mini fridge was a bit noisy when the compressor turned on, but I’ve heard worse. nice location right of highway and minutes to shopping and restaurants. 2 queen beds were pretty comfortable and the room seemed recently remodeled or upgraded. Felt clean and well cared for.

wood stairs up to 2nd floor room seemed a bit mushy but they’ll probably take care of those soon.
