The well equipped kitchen was great for preparing our own meals and we enjoyed meeting another traveller, a volunteer and the owner. It was walking distance from Niagara Falls . A good choice for independent travellers who don't mind a hostel like setting. It was quiet when we were there so might be a bit different in the high season.

Natural lighting wasn't great so the shared living area seemed a bit gloomy.

Room was decent. Extra blankets were provided on request and communication with the hosts was very smooth.

Internet in our second floor bedroom was quite slow during our stay.

The Staff are super friendly, helpful and kind and the place feels like home. Love the personal touches with everything such as the room names and info sheets!

23 minute walk uphill from Niagra Falls but absolutely excellent to walk through and see the local area on the way! Nice neighbourhood, peaceful.

Carroll was wonderful & let us check in early because of a tour we were taking. It was our anniversary and I had flowers delivered to the house ahead of time and she put them in our room. Very great place to stay.

Everything was great no complaints

This was the first (and only) American accommodation to meet our expectations from Europe. The house was clean and tidy, all amenities available and clean in the kitchen, decently sized dining table and common areas, perfectly functional bathrooms, comfortable beds. Communication with the hosts as well as check in/out were very easy. The Niagara Falls are in a walking distance (maybe there is some free shuttle even, it wasn't obvious on the newsboard and we didn't use it so we are not sure) and there is a supermarket nearby with conveniently long opening hours. The house has a unique old style feeling. This place is amazing we'd love to come back for more days and have truly relaxing time here.

Just a minor thing: there could be a dedicated shower-gel/soap shelf for the bathtub in the upper bathroom. Even though there is space on the edge of the tub a dedicated shelf/holder would increase the experience. Something that should not be changed is that the house is old and gives creeking noises when moving around, making you feel guilty to arrive/leave or just go to the bathroom late at night. We were not bothered by these noises, and hope that we didn't cause inconvenience to others either!

Loved everything about it

Affordable, very conveniently located, and personally I thought it was great that it was just a house in a neighborhood. VERY cozy interior, I'm thinking they aren't aware how retro-quaint they are but I loved it. Beds weren't the comfiest but they were fine. To those staying here: there's a downstairs half-bath that comes in very handy if there are a lot of other guests upstairs.

The town itself is surprisingly... not fancy? Probably the nicest way I can say that. Not the fault of the hosts, and I felt completely safe the whole time, but outside of the tourist area it's an industrial midwest-type town that has seen better days. Everyone super friendly though, don't let that scare you off.

Nice accommodation not far from the falls. The room was not big but okay for one person. Very nice stuff. It’s easy to prepare your meal in the kitchen.

The upper bathroom to share with guests of four rooms can sometimes (especially in the evening or in the morning) get a bit awkward at times when you have to wait for it to be free.
