Walking distance to downtown. Short drive to the hockey rink.
No elevator. Seemed like renovation was incomplete.

The pool and jacuzzi
Room smelled like stale smoke; hair on bathroom floor. Carpet needed to be deeply cleaned. Wore socks when in the room.

Price gouging. Worn down motel needing a renovation 15 years ago.

Limited options with very little breakfast area seating
Property has not had a good cleaning in a long time and was very disappointing when considering the room rate. Also property charged less than if booked through property direct and Booking.com would not make an adjustment

Easy to get to. Room was comfy. Pool water was nice and warm.
The breakfast was pretty plain. Waffles and biscuits and gravy. No eggs or sausage.

rooms are in need of updating. carpeting is dingy, bathroom floor tiles and grout were separating and dirty. hardly any outlets available for guest use in the room.

When we asked to have the bathroom recleaned it was done properly and without an attitude. The nicest greeting we got was when we were leaving the lady thanked us for staying. When we got there the man barely acknowledged us and it was only 7 pm. Place is fairly worn down.
Beds were a bit hard but otherwise ok! Bathroom was dirty not a very outgoing crew!

Breakfast was good,
Bathroom was small and outdated. Tile was missing grout. Room was outdated. TV was Tiny! Hot Tub looked like it had mold around it.

The hotel was conveniently located and the staff was excellent
The carpet was stained, I could feel the springs in the bed when I laid on it, our room was right by the stairs and very noisy, and our stay was overpriced

The bathroom had hair all over. The complimentary shampoo/conditioner bottles and lotion were open and used. Outside area needed to be mowed.... overall, everything could use some freshening up.

Cleanliness for starters. Used wash towels left in the bathroom. Toilet seat was so loose it fell off one time. Marks on the walls in the room that need patching and paint.

Location was very good. Staff were friendly.
Breakfast was mediocre at best. You're typical hotel breakfast. No options for gluten free, not even a banana! Price was high for a Super 8, but there were lots of events happening when I stayed so that boosted the price.
