We were told it would be only a continental breakfast. It was so much more with hot eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, fruit... It was grand!
The green spaces for guests to lounge in were wonderful.
The mattress was a bit hard.

Breakfast-scrambled eggs were rubbery biscuits were cold and mushy. Room- was ok.

Location was somewhat acceptable.
The bathtub was not fastened down. When you were in the tub you could feel it move side to side.
The shower head created a loud screaming noise due to position of shower head. When the shower head was adjusted it got only slightly better.
Ran out of meat for breakfast. when asked the staff not much of an acceptable answer besides a look of what do you want me to do about it.
The location of the ice machine was in a main hallway. Always wet on the floor and slippery.

Staff made the stay great they were beyond willing to help and were very friendly. Breakfast was good! Not super big but enough options! Also the location is awesome!
Room could have been a bit cleaner but wasn't terrible. Our TV had two permanent "burn marks". Some areas could be updated a bit, but overall a great place to stay.

Two things, both staff related. There was a $50 charge for something, I don't remember what, that was added, then subtracted from everyone's bill. The staff was transparent about letting us know, but it wasn't visible. One guest wanted a printed verification, which the desk manager couldn't give. There was some tension from the guest but the manager was calm and courteous throughout the exchange.
Also my wife left a pillow in the room that was meaningful to her. She didn't realize it for a couple days. We were closing on a new house and completing some tasks in that house, so we had a lot on our minds. Anyway, we back to the hotel and they'd save the pillow and returned it to my wife. It seems like a little thing, but it meant much more than you'd think. Thank you for that!
The door to our room was difficult to latch when you were closing it. When we returned one day after being gone all day, we realized the door wasn't locked. Nothing was taken; everything was fine. The weather was also hot and humid, which probably contributed to the issue. But you really had to bear down on the door when closing it to be sure it was latched, and locked.
Also, the exhaust fan in the bathrooms didn't work. Maybe there was another approach, but it was a little disconcerting that there was a switch for the fan, but it didn't seem to do anything. Consider removing the switch if there's not supposed to be an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

It was quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Very clean room/hotel!

The office was clean and check in was quick and easy.
Our room was not so clean. The carpet had not been vacuumed. There was a plastic tooth flosser on the floor between the beds and that’s when I noticed the carpet was dirty. I stepped on a small rock that was also on the floor. The bathroom fan did not work. I was going to tell them at checkout but there was a slip of paper we had to write our room number and if we wanted a receipt. There was nobody attending the front desk.

The room and the breakfast were good and what we expected.
The pool and the parking lot were not what we expected.
The parking lot wasn’t cleared of snow, making less parking spots available and part of the parking lot was breaking up where you could not drive over that part of the parking lot which meant less parking spots as well.
When we went to use are card to get into the pool area, our card would not work, so we went to the front desk and we got new cards, we went back to the pool and found out that there were no towels in the pool area and the hot tub was not working a sign said due to cleaning, We were very disappointed about that, in our opinion the hot tub looked like it wasn’t running for awhile, more than a week.

I loved that there was a noon checkout and that the living room was partitioned from the bedroom and the continental breakfast was really good!

Cozy and clean place with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. His staff gave us excellent attention, especially Rommel (Alex), he was very attentive and helped us by guiding us on places to visit. Highly recommended.

the hot tub was broken and the pool area should be redone. the reason we stayed here was because we went to valley fair and they could bring in some good business with a better pool

it was a really nice property.
I don’t like the fact that I reserved a king room and ended up with a single queen room. it is frustrating to not get what is paid for this is not the first location we have booked through here that has switched room types on us. it honestly just deters me from using bookings app.

The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on par with other hotels that include breakfast. The common areas were nice.
The room was dark and dingy. The chair in the room was stained and appeared dirty, and we were afraid to sit in it. The bathroom was not clean. There was urine around the toilet. The plug for the sink was missing—nothing was there. So we were looking directly down the crusty pipe. We were also afraid we would lose something down the drain! The tub was very worn and needs to be reglazed or replaced. At first, we thought it was filthy, then realized it was worn through, which allows for bacteria to be harbored. Every time we flushed the toilet, it was a gamble on whether it would flood or not. We did end up needing the plunger. The water dripped (steady stream if it was not cranked closed-afraid it would break) constantly in the tub. The bathroom also needed a coat of paint on the walls and tile work as the tile needs repair. The rug had several stains, and we felt we needed to wear shoes at all times to avoid making direct contact.
Given the state of the room, the price was too high for what we got. It was almost like we were put in the room that is only used for emergency. The room had potential, it just seemed the rooms (at least the one we stayed in) were not being maintained.
We stayed as our credit card had already been charged for the full stay. So we bought cleaning items so we could safely stay.
