speakeasy” is just a bar.

It was so cold in the room that if we stayed in the room we had to stay in the bed to be warm. The thermostat to the rooms were in the hall on lock down. They had the other rooms doors open to make sure what heat was there circulated the rooms. That’s all I have to say except the girl said that the 2 nites we didn’t stay would show reimbursement to our credit card in 24 hours and here it is 11/30/22 hasn’t showed up yet.

As always a pleasant stay. Great service from the front desk. My niece loved the hotel as it was her first time here.

Loved the location of this hotel and the history behind it.
I was expecting a larger room. The picture of the rooms I saw on the web page were much larger and had historical furnishings. We had a small room with more mid-century modern type furnishings.

The room was clean, comfortable, pretty quiet.
The web site said breakfast included...not. the dining room floor was si sticky...wait staff way too busy ...parking was not great.
Far to walk with luggage.

Loads of character and spacious room.
Noisy on the Main Street. The central air didn’t quite keep up although there was a room fan. Sheetrock in the bathroom needed repair, although it was clean.

The staff went out of their way to be accommodating. The hotel is nicely restored and furnished in historic and period style.
The restaurant could have been open for breakfast.

The hotel is awesome. All the history. Very cool place to stay.
The restaurant/bar. It has changed and not for the better. They used to have live music and a fun vibe. It is now called a speak easy. No live music, play oldies(Sinatra, Judy Garland). I have been to a speak easy bar before. This is at the bottom of the list

This is a classic old hotel in downtown Millersburg. It is in excellent condition and the rooms are huge. Very comfortable beds, extremely clean. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. This is the place to stay in Millersburg, especially if you are going to be on the trails in this area. One of our best stays on a 43 day trip!!!
I wouldn’t change anything!

The staff there is always friendly and helpful, they go out of there way to make the stay great.
I would get rid of the speakeasy theme. The music is awful. Pick a new theme! The food is expensive.

I loved having the opportunity to stay overnight in a historical hotel. It is a beautiful facility that is well cared for. The doors to rooms that were empty were open so you could see inside. That was nice to see the decor of other rooms.
I was disappointed that communication from staff was not better relayed. We were looking forward to eating in the dining room but when we went to supper they were closing the dining room two + hours early. I realize there weren't many guests but it would have been nice if they had called our room ahead of time to give us time to come eat. We had a hard time finding a pleasant place to eat. Also, we were not told that there was a continental breakfast. We missed that as well.

Nothing at all
The hotel staff was rude to my husband. The room was so small. No refrigerator, or microwave or ice maker. Broken chair in the room. The room is very dark and over looked the street. No parking for a truck and trailer. WE LEFT THE HOTEL AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES IN THE ROOM. Have not received the money back as of yet.

the beautiful antique furniture and beds
the restaurant served delicious food and had a great dining atmosphere
It was a bit noisy early in the morning because of the traffic outside our front window.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The staff in both the hotel and speakeasy were extremely proud of the property and were eager to tell us all about the new updates! The mattresses were very comfortable and everything was clean.
Our room had very large windows and was right along SR 39. The street noise from the trucks outside was very loud throughout the night. I do not know if there is anything that could be done about the noise but it is an issue. I would assume the rooms on inside walls do not have the same noise issue.
The breakfast room was very tiny. We came down in the morning and there was not a place for us to sit and the food had run out. Had we not had a set schedule for the morning, this would not have been a concern and we could have waited.

location, ambiance, restaurant and bar on site, convenient parking, comfortable beds, huge room
right next to the courthouse clock tower that chimed the hour all night long, keeping me awake

Room was nice and historic like we thought it would be.
location was nice
Staff was very cold acting. Didnt give any details about hotel and when asked about town just pointed to a flyer on the counter.
The restaurant was not open for breakfast. when I saw a manager or someone that came out of the restaurant I asked if it was going to be open at 7:30 she said 7:30 ish. so we went elsewere.
The area is not the way the we thought it would be could be advertised more accurately
5.0
The staff was wonderful but finding the front desk was interesting from the parking lot.
The layout of the building felt like it was a maze and it was very interesting trying to move around with luggage. The room was small not enough room, some more toiletries would have been nice. The room only had two towels and washcloths not enough for two guests. I understand that it is a historic hotel but for the price, a larger room would have been nicer. For the price, there was no breakfast or any snacks available for the guest. Finding the parking could have been signed better. I felt uncomfortable with the door to my room being open when I went to my room it felt unsafe to me.
