They were short staffed, we weren't allowed check in until almost 6pm. Bathrooms near lobby were filthy, pool area had no heat and was freezing inside pool area, hot tub was under construction.

Clean room, nice breakfast, staff was helpful, nice pool, close to downtown, nice event space.

Disappointed that the bar was not open on a Saturday. Had a large group of family staying here and would have liked to stay on site for a drink.

The convenience of location

The hallways were stained both carpets and walls lots of damaged walls, furniture. My bathroom was gross. Toothpaste spatter on the wall behind the faucet. The shower had dirt and mystery’s brown spots in the shower. The toilet seat was so loose to use it might result in falling off the toilet itself as it detached. I went without a shower rather than risk the filth. In order to check in I had to wade through a crowd of 10 people smoking at the front entrance. Your designated smoking section should not be the front entrance.

The hot tub wasn't working and the drain in the bath tub was just hanging out and wasn't operatable

The carpeting in the room needs to be replaced. It was hard and sticky, It made a bad impression right off. The hotel itself needs renovation- shabby and run-down. I would not stay there again if I have a choice.

Vanity and sink were broken in the room - a couple other small things were broken. Maintenance was definitely not staying up on their task

It was quiet

Somebody’s leftover food was in the fridge. The room was a little dirty/dusty (Hair on stuff). Overall the building was a little run down. This is kinda expected due to the age of the building/area.

Stayed on 3rd floor. Wallpaper was peeling in room, fire alarm really yellowed and looked dirty. Carpet needed vacuum. Bathroom was nice and clean.

The location was excellent for us and when we had an issue with the first room they moved us to another room which was much nicer.

foul smell in halls, wasn't comfortable with all of the people congregating outside in the little covered picnic table areas with the parking lot not lit up well enough.

This Quality Inn was very nice, the rooms were bigger than other Quality Inns we have stayed at, the pool was very nice as well. We will come back next time we go to Escanaba.

There were a group of Migrant workers hanging around and cooking in their room. It left a terrible odor in the hall which seeped into our room. The very helpful staff moved us to another room.
