We stayed at this hotel prior to a cruise out of the port of Miami. When messaging with the property prior to the trip, the management indicated a very late checkout would not be an issue ( couldn’t arrive at port until 16:00) as they had plenty of vacancy. Upon checkin, the desk attendant said he couldn’t approve it, and said he didn’t know who the messages were from when I showed him the messaging on the app. He said we’d have to ask the next morning. I asked the lady at the desk the next morning about it and she said she could only extend our check out to 12:30 at the latest since they were full (there we hardly ANY vehicles in the parking lot). I went to the elevator and remembered I needed to get something out of our vehicle. When I passed the desk, the same clerk was speaking in Spanish to another employee, and mocking me for asking about what I was already told would not be a problem from one of their representatives (that’s right, country boys from Ga might know a little Spanish too). Rude staff that only cared to cater to Hispanics from all the interactions I witnessed. They seemed bothered and irritated if anyone spoke English to them. There were signs everywhere indicating no smoking indoors of tobacco, marijuana, or vapes, but our entire floor reeked of nasty, skunky weed. We we said something to them about it, they just shrugged their shoulders. Homeless dude was sleeping on the bench out front and begging for money, harassing guests, and staff would not ask him to leave or stop bothering customers.

The breakfast was very good. The location to the airport was good.

The room appeared to not been cleaned fully. The bathtub appeared to still have dirt in it around the sides. The airport shuttle service needs to start earlier in the morning, for those who have early flights. We had a 6:30 AM flight and the shuttle started at 5AM not giving enough time to get bags checked and through TSA. We nearly missed our flight due to not getting to the airport early enough, as the TSA line was very long.

Basic but clean, functional and staff were very helpful and friendly

Breakfast was good and we liked the rooms, just wish we had know about the shuttle to the airport before I purchased it from the airport to the cruise ship, but now we know and we will see you next year about this time.

Didn't like the fact that we did not know that we could get a shuttle from the hotel to our cruise ship. We have the number and will use it next time.

We always go here before a cruise out of Miami. They are so willing to help out with special needs since we usually travel in large groups

It is hard to find places to eat. you really have to order food in , especilly if you have a large group.

The breakfast was better than expected. Staff was very nice, probably the highlight of the stay.

Couldn’t get the shuttle to come. Called the hotel multiple times no one answered. when we arrived to check in there was no one at the front desk there was a sign that she was away for a while. Lobby was dirty.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist (don't know her name unfortunately). Good location for airport connection with shuttle.
