Charming, central comfortable

Staff could have been more attentive

Probably one of the most coziest hotel we’ve ever been to. An hold Victorian building renovated with very nice furnitures and colours. The rooms are exactly as shown in pictures and I loved it every part and detail of it. We loved the little chimney that we turned on on a heavy rainy night. Bear in mind that there is no elevator to the bedroom’s floor. Nice and comfortable to have a parking just a block away. maybe just the bathtub could have a repaint as it was peeling off but except than that, everything has been FANTASTIC

Breakfast was ok at best. There were absolutely no choices at all, and they catered to vegetarians only. The breakfast was available late (8am) for an Inn that boasts of local outdoor activities as a highlight of the area. The room that we stayed in for 3 days was extremely small, with absolutely no dressers or drawer space of any kind, no shelves for personal items, in either the room or bathroom, no space to open or store a suitcase, and the wardrobe had 2 hangers in it. The bed tilted with the head being lower than the feet to the point it was noticeable by looking, and very apparent when laying in the bed. In short, the room was absolutely unacceptable... it would equate to a 4 day road trip in a Smart car. 14 overfull and overflowing garbage cans lined the sidewalk in front of the Inn and even blocked the designated load/unload area in front of the Inn. We were woken in the early morning hours each day by yelling and crowing by the homeless person living in the parking lot just outside our room window.

Lovely cozy old hotel with fully modern appearance. spaceous room. good wifi. free coffee, tea, drinks. Good breakfast. in teh heart of the town of SLO.

Breakfast choice. There was none. Not everyone appreciates Mexican food. Plain toast and jam could be a simple alternative. Decaf coffee should have been available at 8am.

This is a wonderful historic building in a great location.

There was a leak from the shower onto the floor in the Amadeus room.

Lovely small hotel Very clean and right downtown so you can walk there. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Staff were great!

Nothing really. Parking is an issue but they give you a voucher for parking lot right around the corner which is very helpful. Would stay again!

The Garden Street Inn is a gorgeous quaint property with lovely staff, very comfortable, very clean and quiet in San Luis Obispo. Would definitely recommend, so different from staying in a chain hotel. Beautiful.
