If you're looking for a place to take a shower and lay your head down at night then this location gets the job done. The staff was very accommodating and easy to interact with. I did also like that it's easily accessible to I-35 if you're traveling. The continental breakfast wasn't the greatest of selections, I'd say it barely met the standards to be considered a continental breakfast. Thankfully there are plenty of other dining options (both fast food and sit down eating) nearby so you have more options if the hotel breakfast isn't up to your standards.
It was a rough stay for us in terms of the other guests in the vicinity. Both nights of our visit there were constantly large rowdy groups (at least 12-15 people) gathered in the parking lot drinking, smoking weed out in the open and at one point they even had a grill set up on the sidewalk grilling food and playing loud music for hours. They wouldn't even move aside to let other guest around them. The first night we arrived past midnight and after checking in and driving around to our room we came upon this same rowdy group. The second night was the same issue, however a new surprise to add to the mix with 3 cop cars just a few doors down. They weren't even there for the parking lot crowd so who knows what else was going on. With all the events going on I'm positive the hotel staff had to be aware of what was going on and nothing was done to resolve these issues. Then to wrap up our stay we were awakened by the sound of an upstairs guest throwing up over the side of the balcony at 7 in the morning. If you're traveling with a family and small children I would heavily advise to reconsider your stay at this particular location.

The bathroom has no space and the door skidded across my feet when opening/closing it.

Was clean and easy to get in and out of our room at all hours of the night. We were traveling for softball and we had games at 1am and the burger place next door is amazing!! We walked to it and got dinner and walked back to our room.
We were on the back side by the pool and it was kind of loud but nothing too crazy!

Good working ice machine. Bed was comfortable.
The elevator was at the back of the motel not by the lobby. Spent a lot of time walking up and down stairs. Bathroom was a little small.

Close to fast food. Able to go on walks without fear. Nice lobby and employees very nice.
Roaches in room. bottom door seal needed replacing. Assigned handicap room and we were not handicapped. Walk in shower made floor very wet and slippery which we found dangerous. Men staying on 2nd floor were very noisy and left beer cans and broken bottles on sidewalk and parking lot.

An in room safe would have been nice on this visit. A chair to relax in to watch TV would have been nice. There should have been some paper and a pen in room on the table. Operating the TV was very jangly. You really need to have some operation instructions in the room for the TV. The keys had my room # on them. NOT GOOD. Major security issue if a guest accidentally loses a key!

Rooms were clean and ample parking. Front desk ttendant was spot on with customer service and a genuinely nice guy.
Loud. Everyone was stomping around, people were drinking beer in the parking lot till 3am, the room was severely over priced for only having 2 double sized beds and it was located in a not so decent part of town. The shampoo and soap they supplied was literally the most awful shampoo and soap my wife and i have ever come across. The bedding wasn't very comfortable, the beds were stiff, not to mention two adults sharing a double bed isn't great. Wouldn't have much to complain about if it wasn't the same price to stay at a much nicer hotel with two queen beds, like the Hilton. We should have paid the extra ten bucks and gone to a much higher end hotel a few miles away in a better part of town. 1 star. Would not recommend this hotel.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms appeared clean. The staff was super nice.
There were little holes in the ceiling, probably from previous water damage. The refrigerator made noise all night long, the base of the bed made noise any time I moved, and the provided breakfast was just sort of ok. Luckily the beds were very comfortable, so I was able to get some sleep. Also did not realize until leaving the next day that there were no screens on the window and it wasn't locked. These rooms face outside, anyone could have come in at any time.

My husband and I were in town for my brother-in-law's funeral and we stayed at La Quinta because it was very close to my sister's house.
We chose the two double bed room because it was the least expensive. My husband and I are in our 70's, neither one of us can walk very well. I walked inside and the lady at the front desk gave me a big smile and welcomed us there. She saw I was not walking very well and asked if we needed a handicap accessible room. I told her handicapped wasn't needed but we would like a room on the first floor. She looked at the map of the motel and found us a room with a parking space very close to our door. For our short stay, where we were hardly there except for bed time, I would say there was !!nothing we didn't like!!
If we had stayed longer, my husband would have liked a chair with a lamp beside his bed, but it was not a necessity. With the two double beds, we split the room right down the middle!! All my things were on the left side of my bed, with a desk, chair and light. It would have been nice to have a chair and lamp for the right side of his bed. We don't like to have to sit on our beds all the time. There was a nice table between the beds with alarm and a phone charger station.

Good price. The room was extremely clean and renovated with nice furnitures. The free parking is really convenient and everything was perfect.
The breakfast menu could use some improvements but the food was fresh.

the beds felt like sleeping on a concrete bench. my toilet wouldn’t flush was broken for my two day stay. the A/C seemed inadequate for the size of the room.

About a week or so ago I stayed at the Hilton just up the road from your establishment. I will be sure to return to LaQuinta if I have to be back in Temple again. The room was super clean, the bathroom was super clean. The lobby was more than welcoming. Superb. That was our stay.
There was only one chair in the room. I borrowed a lobby chair.

The remote control to the TV in our room wouldn't select the correct channel. It was very frustrating!

The night clerk was very friendly. Breakfast was pretty good.
The room wasn't as clean as it should be. There was nail clippings on the floor and the in-room coffee pot was dusty with a dirty spoon on the tray. There was only one towel for the two of us.
