location was great…right next to the ski lift and the size of the place was bigger than I expected.
The kitchen layout is very poor. No cleaning service and the hot tub was out of service. Also, there is no HVAC register in the bathroom, so it was freezing in there.

The location and the rooms. It is a great place to stay and relax on the porch or inside.
I don't like it isn't pet friendly. I also don't like how it isn't available alot in the summer. Also the pillows weren't the best and there needs to be extra blankets available if you need them.

The two bedroom suite was lovely and comfortable. The layout and design was very appealing. It had all the kitchen and cooking amenities needed. Its location along the Red River was awesome. We saw deer walking along the River green belt. We saw people catching large trout. Just wonderful. it is only one block off of Main Street. Easy to walk around town. It is next to one of the ski lifts. A terrific value for the money and far better accommodations than the vast majority in Red River.
Pool and hot tub were closed.

No breakfast provided, Staff friendliness! William was great everytime I called before the trip & onsite. The maintenance guy was awesome and efficient, however he wasn't able to keep our fireplace going due to a part ordered.
The fireplace should have been tested prior to guest arrival, in order to have the experience of amenities.

The property was comfortable and we loved being on the river.
Didn't have the fireplace ready. That was the only disappointment. Also wouldn't let us check in an hour early. It made it sound like the standard answer is no because they were not that busy. It worked out.

Hotel is right on the river with fishing right out back! It is very easy walking to anywhere in town.

The apartment was very nice and loved hearing the water from the stream at the back deck.
The air intake for the HVAC unit in the master bedroom was dirty. The shower faucet broke and water could not be turned off. Person at front desk did not know how to shut water off. It ran at full pressure for at least 2 plus hours. when plumber arrived at about 10:00 PM he turned off water immediately and did repair. Not sure why all that water was wasted. Also Internet was very poor on both IPs that were offered.

Our entire family loved the location of the property, the condition of the facilities, and the size of the back porch. We also liked that our questions were quickly answered, when needed. In addition, we would like to return during the winter season.
We wish that the barbeque grill could have been available during our stay. We were also disappointed that we were not able to use the hot tub. The hot tub was not working the time that we were there.

The room it was like a real apartment

Id love to write a glowing review of the property but I didn't get to stay here. It looks nice from the outside. The location is very close to the lift. Its also a short walk to many places in town. These are they main reasons I booked here but unfortunately they left me high and dry.
Finding out my booking had been canceled the day I was supposed to arrive. I booked the resort in December during the highest part of the covid restrictions. I happened to call the resort on the day of departure to let them know I would be arriving late only to find out my room had been canceled because of occupancy levels due to covid even though I had booked very early . I had received an email conformation that morning from booking.com so I was completely blindsided. I wasn't contacted at all from booking.com or Windmark Red River to let me know .I literally would have driven the whole way there to find out I didn't have a place to stay. I was unable to find a phone number for booking.com and they still haven't returned the message I sent them. Luckily ONE place in Red River had a cancellation and our trip wasn't ruined.I understand things are difficult during these times and would have understood if either the hotel or booking.com contacted me before the trip. If you're looking for a place to stay near the copper chair try the Copper King and definitely avoid booking.com

Everything was great. They followed covid guidelines perfectly, they apartment was stocked with everything we needed, and it was a great location to the ski lifts. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
