Enzian Inn

Piano player in the lobby was enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. The walk in shower was nice.

The worst thing was the pocket door on the bathroom. When fully open it is difficult to close the door. Broke a nail wrestling with it. It was ridiculous. The front door has no automatic handicap button. I’m in a wheelchair and hated relying on another person opening the doors for me. The facility is tired and could use updating considering the cost of the stay. Luggage carts should be available at main entrance or at the very least, front desk should advise where they are located upon check in.

Beds were comfortable Breakfast was out of this world Staff at front desk very helpful Music The gentleman who asked for our room number in order to eat breakfast was wonderful. We really liked him. He made us feel welcome at home.

Some carpets looked worn out and dirty. Elevator rugs Rug in lobby in the piano area Door to bathroom difficult to open and shut No bar handles to help get out of the tub Coffee in the room was just too low to get to wasn't in a good spot And the rest of the staff like the cleaning staff your to ask them a question they just stand there and look at you

No back up generator, so when the power was lost the customers were basically on our own for anything we could do to create a light in our room. Showers went cold, obviously no ice machines not even any coffee was available for us customers. It seems that a nice and high dollar hotel that charges over $400 dollars a night could afford some kind of back up system. At the least give the customers a partial refund or credit for a future stay. The power going out wasn’t anyone’s fault but we did pay for a special hotel room and service that we did not get. So the hotel made their money but the customer took the loss. Sounds like the hotel isn’t really about customer service after all.
