Room was old and has a lot of roaches

Location only.

Slow check in. Took employee 15 minutes to show up as quests were piling up while I had to wait outside. Visible and open illegal drug use on property. Severe cigarette smoke smell in room of a facility represented as being no smoking. Obviously not enforced. I had to vacate early due to allergic reaction to smoke and inability to sleep. Some kind of liquid bubbling up through spaces in floor covering. Cigarette burns in sheets. Excess stains on sheets.

Room was not clean when I arrived. Due to the look of the property, I had low expectations. What I did not expect was the roach infestation. I was forced to put my luggage in large trash bags to prevent roaches from getting into my clothes.

No roaches, clean room with operable features. Refrigerator leaked, light over the cooktop did not work, and bathroom sink barely had water pressure coming from the faucet.

the bed bugs, the cockroaches in the bathroom, the bugs on the walls, the dirty floor, the fact the bathroom door locked itself and we couldn’t use it anymore and when we told reception they did nothing about it, the neighbours shouting/kids running around till 3/4am and dogs barking till 3/4am

It was absolutely HORRENDOUS. The elevator was broke and of course they put us in the top floor.....(mind you, I have severe pain from fibromyalgia and it was hard to get up and down the stairs....especially with bags!The floor was dirty and my shoes stuck to the floor literally in the entire room, including the bathroom. , There was hair all over the room, bed, floor etc. It had baby cockroaches on the walls, mostly in the bathroom but a couple elsewhere. There was an inch gap between the door and the floor...you could see outside. The door looked like it had been kicked in a few good times. I locked the door and was able to push it open without a key. I had to beg for more than one towel even tho they knew there was a few of us staying. Had to wait for the towels for over an hour. Never did get washcloths. No garbage can. Wifi didn't work no matter what you did. The shower floor was cracked and peeling. There was a fork laying on the counter from a previous guest and one under the bed closest to the door. When I told the housekeeper that the room was unclean, she argued and stated that she just checked the room herself and nobody stayed in the room the previous night. After stepping into the room and sticking to the floor, she then promised to come back right away to mop. About an hour later the lady from front desk came up and mopped. The water was black....it was so dirty I gagged. The front desk lady said she would b back in about an hour to mop it again, but never showed up of course. The room then smelled like cats had peed all over in it. It's was absolutely disgusting. They should be embarrassed. Because it was new years eve many other hotels had no vacancy, not to mention there were no other hotels near us and Uber had left.....otherwise I'd have NEVER EVER STAYED AT THIS LOCATION. It needs to be knocked down. This hotel is the worst I've ever been to in my life.
