Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Portland International Airport, OR

Comfortable bed and good pillows

As expected, the sounds of planes was very loud.

Close to airport and great transfer shuttle

Poor communication

Room was basic. Met our needs. Nothing exceptional about it. The location was close to the airport and we were able to get shuttle srvice from the hotel to the airport.

Only had breakfast one of the two nights we stayed there. We were asked to leave the room at 9 or 9:30 whether we were done eating or not. There was no dinner served at the hotel which weren't aware of, and had to try to find a place to eat after we arrived. Staff wasn't real helpful with finding a place the first night we arrived. Staff was more helpful on the second night we stayed there when we were getting ready to leave Portland.

Well located very near the airport which is really the best thing about the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable enough. Parking was surprisingly convenient.

The nearest elevator and ice machine, and sink in our room were out of service or broken. The carpet was pretty dirty. During the night, the room was either too hot or too cold. The heating/cooling unit was exceptionally loud. The breakfast attendants were more concerned with each other as they huddled around their phones in the very oddly arranged breakfast room. They did come to life later on. The hotel breakfast is inadequate with very little healthy choices. The hotel has declined in quality since my last stay and that is regrettable. The rating is really 6.5.
