Location.
Very tired. Room extremely small. Bathroom toilet seat needed to be replaced.

Very nice historic hotel ( well over 100 years old) Has in room accommodations that most hotels in town don't have.
We had a lot of friendly interaction with the staff and guests. Definite do again.
As with anything now days staff shortages are a real issue! The restaurant menu was not complete and service was not as
fast as it should have been. Parking in a turn of the 19th century town is not ever fun this was no exception but doable. You can walk almost everywhere.

loved the nice big room, claw foot tub, location and the overall vibe.
The front desk staff was comically rude. one woman couldn’t be bothered to look up from her phone to help us. there was a definite disconnect between staff and the manager and customer service of any kind.

The room was very clean and very comfortable.
The dining room experience was horrible. Very bad attitudes, and very slow service. We had to leave after waiting 45 minutes and still no breakfast.

Location is great. Front desk was very nice.Good pillows.
Room smelled. Bed uncomfortable. Window heater was terrible. Off and on again in about 2 seconds. Until put it up to 84.. then it stayed on and we roasted. Not enough towels.

The elevator
Booking.com misleading on accommodation. Charged weekend rates on Sunday even though restaurant was closed. Room wasn’t ready. The cook didn’t show up for breakfast so had to go elsewhere

The location was great. It was downtown and you could walk to places. The mining museum is in front of the hotel, and the tour through the old Mine is just up the street, easy walking distance. You can walk to stores on the Main Street. Most stores are the cursor type, not practical ones. The only breakfast place other than the hotel was a coffee shop across the street with pastries. There were several good restaurants within walking distance. Parking was awkward. It is street parking. In the busy season there’s not much parking. The only tour we could find was a ghost tour which we enjoyed. We asked her to tell us Bisbee history, too, and she did.
It is very shabby, but it was clean enough. I think it’s the oldest hotel in Bisbee. The room had a very noisy heater/air conditioner making it hard to sleep. The air conditioner is an old window unit. There also was karaoke noise from the bar. I was on the second floor.

Room especially bathroom was unclean, and not stocked. Room was somewhat in dusted. Window blinds were terrible. Went to bar and was out of all mixers. I would say this hotel was over priced and totally mismanaged.

We all enjoyed the idea of staying in a historic hotel.
when we arrived at Chechen our room wasn’t ready for 2 hours. The beds were absolutely uncomfortable. You could feel the springs poking out !!

Check in was very friendly. Room was as expected for an historic hotel. We'd stayed there before so knew what it looked like. We enjoyed musical entertainment.
Elevator was out of order. We both have bad knees and had to use lots of steps. No one to help carry luggage. Disappointed there was no more dinner service. (A few years ago, we had an excellent dinner there. Didn't know they discontinued it.) Bar offered no decent wine. They found a bottle of white but didn't even know what it was. We ordered nachos ($10). They were awful. Stale chips covered in cheese, olives and onions. Terrible. Server couldn't get our credit card to work. Came back twice with declined slip. Quite embarrassing. Called credit card company and was told it was merchant error. Worked everywhere else fine.

Limited Out of a few things, cook Didn't know how to make gravy for the biscuits Took a long time to get our order But very friendly
Work on getting the kitchen in swing, The money we spent on breakfast was not worth what we got if you're gonna pay that kind of money you should get a great breakfast

The hotel offered a cold continental breakfast including pastries and yogurt. The coffee was hot and the service was wonderful. The room was lovely and very clean. The historic charm made for a relaxing environment.
Being historical some minor maintenance issues were of little concern and were noted to staff. For example the door required a heavy shove to open and close as the wood had swollen, and the beautiful clawfoot tub sprayed outside the tub as much as inside the tub requiring a bit of clean up.

Conveniently located
The hotel was under renovation, and many things
we’re not in working condition like the pool, staircase
elevator at times, and even the restaurant🤬The nighttime concierge was a dismal failure.

Location was great, hotel was pretty
The ac never cooled down the room, too hot to sleep and the mattress just gave me back pain. No sleep

I love that the location is prime to walk around to all of the shops, restaurants and bars.
The room was absolutely awful- practically a large closet. There was barely enough room to open the door and get in the room! The bathroom was so small, you'd hit the toilet with the door. Shower capsule was rather claustrophobic that barely trickled water. I understand it is a historic building, but the room would have been better suited for a twin size bed and absolutely treat your showerheads for the calcification Arizona's hard water builds up! Maybe clean up the water damage from the window's AC unit.
Had such high expectations for what once was such a highly regarded hotel.

Location was good. Staff was nice when I got there. When staff change shifts some not so nice. Power went out staff did nothing to help guest. When power came back on at 530 pm they did not open restaurant or bar for guest. There was only one place open to eat and everything else was closed in town.
They did nothing to help guest when power went out. And when power came back on at 530 pm they did not open up restaurant to feed guests. Town was closed do to power out. And did not reopen. I would not be going back to Cooper queen to stay. If I go back.

They at least had a bar to go to
Room was 61 degrees when I arrived. Bed mattress was wrapped in plastic which made noise. Bed was very uncomfortable, Shower didn't work very well.
