Authentic cabin.
had WiFi so that was nice.
had a grill to use and an outside picnic table on the deck, very nice!
Needed more towels in bathroom AND kitchen!!
Missing pillows for the beds.
One bed comforter had blood stains on it. Needed washed!

We truly enjoyed our entire experience staying in Coles Cabins. The peaceful was amazing and the comfort of the cabin was fantastic. It is a great location for exploring the blackhills.

location was perfect for our plans
the shower water smell was terrible. our family used to have a cabin with this same trouble with our well water. there is a filter that desperately needs changing on the hot water heater- so smelly that I still smell it in my hair!

Cabins are gorgeous
climbing the ladder to get to the loft I’m trying to get my luggage up there and then there was no dresser to put my clothes in. Kind of hard for six year old fat woman lol

We loved the quiet, peaceful location. I was glad to have a toaster in our cabin, since I had bread. 🙂
The bed was a little squeaky. Otherwise it was comfortable. We were missing one light fixture and bulb, but we had two others plus two windows, so that was okay.

Nice clean cabins.
We arrived after dark and had trouble locating our cabin because it was at a separate sight. A map of where each cabin and bathroom was located would have been helpful.

The Cole's go over and above to make your stay worry free! Cleanest place you'll ever stay. Dave goes out of his busy way to stop and visit to make your stay perfect!

GOOD LOCATION, GOOD COMMUNICATION, JUST LACKED ON CLEANNESS.
JUST LACKED ON CLEANNESS AND CABIN DESCRIPTION. Picture of cabin showed 3 separate Beds, not 2 beds and a pull out couch. Pillow cases stunk like someones dirty hair. TV had no channels and stains on bedding.

The location was great. It was mostly quiet with the exception of the highway traffic. The drive to Deadwood was about 10 minutes which was nice since my family wanted the social distance from any crowds.
I have no complaints, but it did take us some time to figure out the light switches and thermostat. After we figured that out, everything was fine. My daughter didn't like that she couldn't watch TV but I appreciated it. There was a good wifi signal to make up for no television channels.
