Good location.

Absolutely nothing. This place is disgusting, dead roaches, dirty bathroom, bathroom countertop falling apart, dirty windows & frame as well as the doors, large chunks of paint peeling off of the ceiling in the bathroom . We then noticed that we were starting to get bit by something on our legs and arms while in the room. When requesting refund the staff got an attitude and were sniggering amongst themselves about the complaint of the room. They made my wife feel as if it was her problem and not theirs. Ended up having to spend more for another hotel than what we had planned on due to having to find another room for the weekend at another location. I will never recommend anyone to ever stay at this hotel.

The room we got looked updated

The AC in the first bedroom didn’t blow cold air… plus we was on the first floor where everyone seemed to slam doors late at night and it was loud which made it hard to sleep. The beds wasn’t very comfortable they need to get better mattress

Compared to the other motels around us it was pleasant and quiet at the bar harbor I really enjoyed my ocean front room with great view of ocean the staff was great and our room was clean and was better than other hotels that I have stayed ìn the past I would definitely stay at bar harbor again and recommend it to others

The parking was a little hectic because the parking garage was closed for repairs and the ice machine was broken but our stay was great

Great location! Close enough to walk to some nice restaurants and beautiful views of the beach!

The room was dated! The pool was not very clean!

The location is great. The staff is very friendly. Motel is a very very very short walk to the beach, It’s just a small yard to the beach. Beds are very comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel more times than I know. It’s the best value on the beach for someone that just loves the beach And doesn’t need fancy, but comfortable accommodations. I don’t have to find a dog sitter. I just take them with me. Bar Harbor is always my go to motel in Myrtle Beach. I have so many special memories and good times at this motel. I tried nicer and it just wasn’t for me.

I have no complaints. Bar Harbor is what I would expect for the money. And it’s just right for me and my family.

Location was the only thing

The whole stay was bad I didn't even sleep in the hotel I slept in my car due to being uncomfortable

The area where it was, it was close to good things.

The room was very dirty, I had to go buy cleaning products just to clean. I also had to buy an inflatable mattress because the pullout bed was so dirty. Everything was rusty. The staff sounded very rude and had an attitude when we checked in. The pool was never cleaned, it was full of trash.

I liked that it was on the beach.

So much…. The room wasn’t clean, there were no blankets (you have to ask the front desk), no water pressure to take a shower, the toilet was a little too close to the counter in the bathroom (such a pain), the door was a pain to lock (I had to jiggle the handle in order to get the bottom lock to come out), cigarette butts in the balcony that were never cleaned up (it was disgusting), mattresses felt like sleeping on a rock, door to balcony didn’t have any sealing on it so you could still feel the cold air coming in, you can hear other guests talking and walking (and I’m not including the fight a lovely couple got into on our last night- they were right above us and yelled and screamed for 2-3 hours straight and didn’t care about anybody else in the hotel). Parking was a literal nightmare. If there aren’t enough spaces you have to park across the street. I really wished I read through the reviews. This was the most disappointing and disgusting hotel stay I’ve ever had!
