Great location and an extremely comfortable room

It was beautiful and spacious.
I paid for the vineyard views but I only got views of the trees and bushes since I was on the first floor. I would have called this room a garden view instead. It was misleading.

the cottage was private with an amazing view of the vineyard. it was beautiful.
cost and small kitchenette didn’t have any supplies, no plates, utensils, etc.

Lovely Place!!! Great location in St. Helena.
Room very cosy and quiet.
Pool and Spa are very nice.
Really good breakfast.

The location is great and the view outside of our room is wonderful
The lobby, registration, dining area just look and feel so outdated and lack of energy. The rooms are just meh. We’ve paid less for better rooms elsewhere.

The Wine Country Inn is a cute little in that if you have a car is a good location in St. Helena. Location to lots of mountain wineries was great, very close to town but not walking distance necessarily but you could if you wanted to risk walking on 29. The pool and spa and small but fine. Our vineyard view wasn't really a vineyard view as the garden was a bit overgrown but still a nice view. The breakfast which is included wasn't huge but plentiful. Fresh cucumber or lemon water all day.
We were given a handicapped accessible room for some reason - so we had limited storage, limited countertop space and as you know when you're sharing a bathroom it can be difficult to navigate. Otherwise it was just fine.

lovely setting with vineyard view
comfortable furnishings and bed
nice pool
good balcony
lack of information on room - A/C control - what drinks were complimentary- no cleaning service on 2nd day…. no assistance with luggage down steps- lack of parking near to room
no shuttle service to town!

The location was great, true wine country/winery surroundings with an adjoining vineyard.
The location is removed from the main road, and would have been very quiet but we could hear loud party music from adjoining facility and that dampened an otherwise great ambience.
A complete but very low to average grade breakfast. The scrambled eggs were dry and overdone, the sausages and bacon dry, and all food that should have been hot or warm was not. Nice dining area for breakfast but low quality food.
The WORST part was VERY BAD and MISLEADING descriptions on booking.com - which advertised the room as Junior King Suite with 854 sq ft. Actual room was LESS than HALF that size, including a balcony area. There was no patio, again - misleading description.
We'd asked for a late checkout which booking.com confirmed back as approved after checking with the property, or so they said in an email confirmation. On check-in, the hotel denied any communication with booking.com and denied us the pre-approved late checkout. We didn't argue further but generally the hotel reception staff were polite but cold, and flat out unreceptive to any request.
We paid over $850/night - and felt very let down and frankly cheated due to the very misleading descriptions of the room we were to get and how differently it turned out.
Strongly recommend not risking a stay at this property unless you get a rock bottom low price.
Booking.com - you should really check back with the hotel and find out what happened and/or FIX YOUR DESCRIPTIONS of room size and facilities. This was a terrible let down for us and a very costly mistake.

Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious.
The mattress on the bed seemed a little too firm (?)

Good breakfast, the gardens and pool are nice.
The rooms were dated and the interior of the hotel was weird. The stairs to get to the room were exposed concrete, like it was one time outdoor stairs they just put alls around but didn’t make it nice.
The room was $1000 a night after taxes and there was nothing special or even in the category of exceptionally nice. It was a basic kind of best western room. I paid extra to have a garden patio which was stuffed in the bottom corner with two metal bistro chairs outside. There was no difference between this room and a basic motel.
The staff was not hospitable either. Coffee ran out and checking in was rushed by the attendant. I asked to pay extra to use an outdoor shower by their pool to rinse off before driving home after a bike ride in the area after we checked out of the room and they said it would cost an additional $250 lol.
They also don’t have Tesla chargers. This place didn’t meet any basic expectation. We left saying we wouldn’t stay there again and that we were shocked they missed such a low bar of extending a little bit of extra hospitality.

Excellently located in Yountville, easy access in and out.
great view from the patio to the outside vineyard
room is very clean and is equipped with everything we needed
facility is very well maintained, plants are well kept
wish that breakfast was a bit more creative, basic items such as bacon, eggs, yogurt.
lady at the reception was okay, not very customer service trained due to the lack of enthusiasm when communicated twice during our stay, with that price per night, she should give a little more good vibes.

it’s a beautiful place to spend time to relax and lay back. Everything was clean and everybody was very helpful and friendly.

loved the location and the big rooms. very clean and bathroom was big.

Great location with beautiful scenery.
At a cost of nearly £400 per room per night, this place is extremely overpriced for the service provided. It’s a complete rip off!
There is no restaurant on site. A very basic breakfast is delivered to your room (at the incorrect time) in a paper bag, with plastic cutlery
polystyrene plates. Juices were straight from a carton and butter and jam packets, the variety you would find at a service station. An absolute insult!

Quit and clean. Free breakfast was great!
No map to what the inn offers, to get to the pool n spa

good location in the valley, quiet, beautiful view of the hillside and vineyard out back.
We had several instances of bugs all in the room & bathroom. they were not bed bugs by any means, but they were coming from what I believe is an opening in between the door and the frame. I called front desk to notify but unfortunately they didn’t have more rooms available. The last night I woke up to a pretty large spider on the ceiling directly above me. it was unfortunate for the amount of money the stay was.
This will not be everyone’s experience, and I’m sure it would be different if I went again, but it did bother myself and my wife.

The check in desk was basic but then you get to your room and WOW Big, clean, huge bathrooms and a VIEW!!!! GREAT hot breakfast brought to your room every morning
Check in area but you are only there once.

Plenty of food. Due to it being delivered, it was not "hot off the stove", but it was still okay.
Not crazy about eating off of a paper plate and using plastic utensils. Hopefully as the COVID situation improves, this will change.

Can tell that this property is short-staffed. We were disappointed when we arrived to have our $600 + per night room be in a corner with no view or no patio. Grounds are beautiful to look at if situated in a better room. Would not stay here again as there places with better value in Napa Valley.

Incredibly comfortable bed, soft fluffy towels, beautiful setting and terrace views. Very romantic. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was delivered promptly and hot to the rooms (the quiche was delightful) as they do not serve a full breakfast at this time.

Beautiful, secluded, pool & hot tub fab, room quiet & comfy
Staff was so aloof other than check in we could have been on the property and never talked to anyone. The grounds were beautiful & it was Covid but it was expensive and they were a bit indifferent

Great staff and wonderful location
Only issue was my car was sprayed with sprinkler water and I have water spots. All else is great. We will go back.
