The property is amazing, and the staff gave the best service I’ve ever had at a B&B. This is definitely a DO NOT MISS stop if you’re interested in wine country.
I only wish we’d made more time to stay.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome and had lots of fun learning about the house and the grounds. The Architecture was splendid. Everything look as if it was just built. The Service was outstanding. I loved the coffee tray before breakfast.
We didn't stay long enough. There was lots to do and see. The wineries were extremely well done and we certainly enjoyed them.

The breakfast was excellent. It is a little ways from NOTL, but Ravine and Five Rows wineries are close, each of which I recommend highly.

It’s a gorgeous old home- very peaceful and quiet. Out of town, but at east drive to Niagara on the lake and Niagara Falls. The breakfast was possibly the best I’ve ever had

Amazing breakfast. Coffee, juice and muffin/ croissants are delivered to your room prior to breakfast. Wonderful addition. Rooms are spotless. It’s a beautiful, English style inn…. Lovely getaway.
The rooms are not completely sound proof.

We have stayed at the Woodbourne Inn twice and loved it both times. As NOTL is ours favourite get-away destination, the Woodbourne Inn is now our favourite place to stay. It is aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and good value for what it offers. The breakfast is fantastic!

Breakfast, and a pre-breakfast brought to our room!, was fantastic - the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip. Jen the chef was fabulous, thank you! Well catered for on the dairy-free front, thanks.
Lovely room: bed was comfortable, nice bathroom too.
Parking very handy, and free.
Good location for driving to the Falls, and NOTL town centre is lovely (though a lot further than I thought).
We ate the first night at The Old Firehall, which was very nice, but there was nowhere else anywhere close by to eat, and after our day at the Falls, we ended up hungry - the only other place anywhere near closed at 9pm. There is nothing in the immediate area.
There were some very noisy American guests on another floor, who carried on talking very loudly till late, and the sound travelled up to our room at the top.
Our room was lovely, though it was a long way up some steep stairs to our room, and carrying two large heavy cases up and down was a challenge, to say the least.
We arrived after 8 hours of driving from Montreal, and the guy waiting for us initially seemed a little miffed that he'd been kept waiting (I don't know how long, but he said he had texted us to see when we would be there, but we didn't receive anything). Not a big deal, he warmed up a bit and everyone was very friendly there.

It was a beautiful, well kept Victorian home. The rooms are lovely. Our host, Matthew greeted us upon our arrival and we were offered coffee, etc. and snacks. He made sure we had everything we needed. Jen brought us coffee and delicious pastries in the morning to our room. Then Jen made us a delicious breakfast.
I would highly recommend this historic Inn.
There was nothing we didn't like.

A lovely inn with comfortable rooms and plenty of common spaces to enjoy. Loved the creative, gourmet breakfasts and the morning wake up with coffee and fresh baked pastries delivered to our room. Easy to find and conveniently located.

Breakfasts were excellent! Shannon did an incredible job with the meals. We felt so at home and well fed throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and an excellent place to land once we were done adventuring for the day.
The walls were a little thin, and some of the other guests were not terribly considerate. This is, of course, not really an issue with the inn (older places just tend to have thinner walls) or our experience with the service, but just some bad luck.

Breakfast was ok, location was good. Nice homes.
More variety with snacks/breakfast.

The breakfast was absolutely excellent! The staff were very helpful, approachable and friendly. The room was really cute. The inn was gorgeous and the grounds were beautiful for sitting in to have tea or a glass of wine.
The only downside was that it said that room was soundproof, but it definitely wasn't. We could hear EVERYTHING happening in the hallway and the room beside us.

We loved the room and large bed (room 4). The drive in and out of the main area was longer than we expected so that was a drawback but nothing you can do about that! The breakfast was a surprise. I expected the usual bacon and eggs so was pleasantly surprised at the offering. It was like a quiche but with potatoes and edible flowers. It looked lovely. I also loved the tea and coffee and pastry delivered to the room at 8am. What a treat!
There was only one thing that made me a little sad and that was the old Canadian flag out front. I know it may seem like a small thing but I just knew if this was an American Inn the flag would have been in great shape. You need a new flag!!
