Very nice staff, great hospitality. Cool lounge and nostalgia. Convenient location.
Broken shower mixer valve/handle. Still in working order!

Location only
Holes in roof covered by tarp, musty smell, dusty, buffet pics are a farce. We glanced around and refused to check in. I called Booking.com from my car. I complained to owner in an email- his response was to try ti charge my card.

Can’t beat the location. Right off Rte 28 in the heart of The Catskills. Lots of trails close by. The owner was attentive and looked after every guest. Lots of locals pop into the bar for a lively feel.
Dated so it feels like stepping back in time. After the initial reaction, it was kind of cool to look at all the antiques and collectibles. Could use a little love & attention but probably still bouncing back after covid.

It felt like staying with the friend of a family.

The location was surrounded by mountains in a cool little town. Loved the area and every single person we encountered was extremely welcoming and friendly. The bar area was awesome with a free pool table. Cant beat it!

Steve, Heather, and Cassy were very welcoming. It felt like I was staying over for a night at an old friend or family member's place. Heather shared her chips and salsa she got from Tito's when I first got there. Steve cooked a nice breakfast too.
My trip was only two days, so I only stayed one night. I wish I could have stayed longer haha.

Really nice owners, small bar with pool table. Eclectic decor
For the price we paid, the room could have been more comfortable

The location was within easy driving distance of several local ski resorts. Staff were kind and considerate. Its a VERY eclectic environment.
The tile on the bathroom floor was broken and coming up and a piece of board was coming off the wall. The carpets were pretty worn with a nail coming through at one place. The heat was RAGING hot to the point of being uncomfortable. Walls were thin and guests were noisily coming in and out til the wee hours of the morning. Breakfast was by order (only two options) so it wasn't quick, although it was decent.

In the shower water pressure was good and it was hot. The room did stay warm despite the use of an electric heater that turned on and off. It was quiet enough as long as no one else was talking or moving around in the adjoining rooms.
It's really shocking that this is a place that accepts money for people to stay. Everything is very old and rundown, walls pealing, ceiling stained, ancient mattress and bedding. What I thought would just be old and charming based on the website was really decrepit and derelict. The place should have had a renovation 20 yrs ago. There was no heat in the part of the building we were in except the gas heater that was installed right next to the old radiator. It was practically like having an open flame inside the room (about 2 ft from the bed, scary!). There is no way this can be up to fire code. I was literally afraid we would die in a tragic fire over night. At first it seemed that it was at least quiet, but around midnight other people went into rooms adjoining ours and we could hear chit chat and through the very thin walls, and then again around 6am. When we looked out the window in the morning it appeared as if the Inn were in the middle of a literal junk yard. Really not pleasant. We left as soon as we woke up in the morning. It's one of the worst places I've ever stayed.

Quirkiness of the hotel… interesting and different. Owner had lots of stories to tell. Very attentive amd generous.Locals stopping by for a drink at the bar.
We liked it however the clutter and collection of attifants is not to everyone’s taste.
