This was a nice cabin home for an outdoors get away. The house was nice and clean, and very warm on the cool nights. The outdoor property was amazing, has a big nice yard with hammock for relaxing, nice trees, it is surrounded with woods, very private, could only see one other property from the cabin, not sure if they could see us as it was below us. Also, the fire pit was very nice, we used it to roast marshmallows, very quite at night.

The main thing i didn't like and why i wouldn't stay here again is the fact that one of the deadbolt on the double doors upstairs was broken and could only use the chain lock, was able to slip the chain right out of the socket from outside, felt very insecure at night because of this. This property has 3 cameras outside as you come in at the side of the house, this may be needed for security reasons but I didn't care for this at all, felt like an invasion of privacy. Only one of the bedrooms downstairs have a closet and drawers to put your clothes, no drawers in the upstairs bedroom, no hangers in the upstairs bedroom closet, it made the closet completely useless, had to leave suitcases packed the entire trip and take what we needed each day. There is not enough cooking skillets to cook on, they had plenty there but were completely covered in black crud, had two small fry pans that you could actually cook on, actually had to cook family meals in two sections back to back. Also, the dinning room chairs are extremely uncomfortable.

not enough seating couch was very uncomfortable table only seats 4 when there is room for 7 people to sleep oven was very dirty so we had to clean it before we could cook in it no dressers in any of the bedrooms so we lived out of our suitcase on the floor needed a few more utensils can opener did not work took our own towels so we wouldn’t be charged if one got a so on it no emergency exit from upstairs bedroom door to outside was locked hard to get heat regulated downstairs

If you want to get away this is it. Very nice place, the owners were super, very caring and willing to help wherever needed. They were easy to contact and friendly. Everything was clean and ready for us. The area is pretty spacious and lotsa room to run around. TV has plenty of channels. Big yard and great fire pit toasting marshmallows was super. Kitchen has whatever you need they even had some coffee for us.

It is a bit of a ride up the hill to get there but directions were easy. The hot tub although seats for four really has only room for two to be comfortable. Would have liked a better location for the tub, maybe on the porch or an extension from the porch instead of in the parking spot under the porch. WiFi is very spotty which they did tell us before we signed the contract. Light switches are kinda goofy, it takes a while to figure out which one goes where...
