Perfect location for accessing nature and trails. The beach is just 3 min away.

The guestkitchen was a HUGE plus!!
No boiled eggs or bacon. That was a big minus. The bathroom smelled muld.

This hostel is really cosy. They have a nice yard with tables, a lawn and a ping pong table. The atmosphere was cosy and friendly and we enjoyed the homely feel. This is perfectly located for beautiful trips to the Opal lake and Hammershus - you can walk from the hostel. The beach is just 5 minutes walk from the hostel too. Access to a joint kitchen and fridge is perfect - saves you lots of money on the pretty expensive restaurants in the area.
Everything was pretty worn down. We didn't really mind - we actually really enjoyed the nostalgic 70'ies bathrooms, and are a bit sad to think they will soon replace them, even if needed. Shopping groceries is difficult without a car or bike. The nearest supermarket is 2 km from the hostel. So are most restaurants.

Location was perfect to get around the tourist attractions at Sandvig area. The food was fresh and excellent 😊

Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Fresh fruit, muslis, diverse choice of bread, oat milk, honey. All good quality
The pillows and duvet had some spots, bed wasn't very comfortable. That was the only minus. Otherwise all perfect.
