Breakfast was superb! Beautifully presented and delicious!!

The grounds were lovely and the interiors lovingly and tastefully decorated. For an old whaling captain’s former home, the management and staff preserved it amazingly! The breakfasts were delicious and they were so gracious about accommodating my gluten-free husband. Would absolutely stay here again!

It was nice to have sanitizer everywhere and sodas and snacks provided. Breakfast was also very good. Stuffs are very nice. I would love to stay there again.

If anything, I was a little rashed by housekeeping came exactly at 11 AM for checkout. Of course, she was nice and waiting outside, but I just wanted have 5 to 10 minutes to spare.

beautiful rooms, a really lovely property. lots of little extras,dosas, biscuits, coffee you could help yourself to. topped off with a sensational breakfast! we travel a lot & have stayed in a lot of B & Bs throughout the UK, Europe etc., and I would put this property in my top 10 for sure

internet & tv reception was dreadful, especially in the evening. you will need a car to get to things, but I can’t fault the property at all

Really nice property and grounds. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable in a delightful historic house. The staff are absolutely excellent and so very helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and helped us to start our days in the Cape perfectly.

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of plug points in rooms.

Our queen room was spacious with many windows. There was a large soaking tub that was luxurious. Everything was perfect and the breakfast was fantastic!

The stairs to second floor were steep and narrow, but that is common in an older inn

In this area of the cape this facility allows you jump traffic in both directions,which is big. The breakfasts are really good. The rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds beautifully maintained and quiet despite so much traffic near to the property. Highly recommend.

The breakfasts were delicious. Every morning my husband and I looked forward to starting our day wondering what special treat was going to be on the menu. Also, enjoyed our conversations with Steve and the delightful young lady who also served breakfast. Our room was beautiful and bed was so comfortable. Thanks for everything!! My husband and I had a fantastic stay here. The photos don’t do it justice: the room, building and property were all charming. The complimentary breakfasts were some of the best meals of our stay (better than some of the 5 star rated restaurants we tried). The staff were knowledgeable and happy to share their recommendations and tips. We would be thrilled to stay here again!

It’s located in a quite neighborhood but still close to Rte 6 Orleans/ Eastham roundabout. Beautifully kept grounds/lawn w/ a gazebo overlooking several wisteria . Very friendly and helpful staff.Very clean.Delicious breakfasts. We will definitely make the Whalewatch Inn our go to location on CC.

This was a last minute booking following a problem we had with a proposed stay in Philadelphia. What a delight it turned out to be and was the highlight of our east coast road trip. Christina and Steve are just the perfect hosts. Everything was brilliant from our greeting, introduction to the many facilities available, our room which was large, comfortable and even had a small balcony overlooking the garden and wooded area beyond. A little spot of heaven just outside Orleans and just a short drive to eateries and shops. However, the sumptuous breakfasts are a joy to behold and a proper treat. 'Sweet' day 1 (fantastic fruit followed by blueberry pancakes and crispy bacon and 'savoury' day 2 with a citrus fruit stack followed by avocado and egg toast. My wife aptly described it as 'fine dining' breakfast without the fuss! We even had muffins each day to 'take away' and enjoy later in the day. Gold stars all round. Well done both!

Having to leave! We could have stayed a few more days in this amazing place with all the benefits of Cape Cod on your doorstep!
