bike trail access, ample parking, never saw anyone at front desk after first check in...this was nice for anonymity, nice hot water shower, lots of pillows to sit up in bed while reading, make your own tea stand, clean room
bed too soft (had a back spasm from it), tv very small, lights next to bed did not turn on, room listed as "Park View" but it looks out on the main highway 28, carpets a bit worn, uninviting walk on very busy road to Main St, "included cold breakfast" started at 8:30 and we had to depart at 7, so never did try it.

Right on the shining sea bike path!
Jeanette has bikes for use on the property.
Lots of hot water and water pressure.
10 minute walk down the bike path to catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.
Beautiful pond across the street to catch an early morning swim.
Lots of restaurants in town, within 5 minutes.
Would put a brighter spot light on the sign at the street. It’s a little difficult to find in the dark.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedroom tastefully decorated. The location is on a busy highway, although there is a good walking track behind the accommodation into Fairhaven town and if you cross the busy road there is a park with a lake and small beach. It is expensive accommodation. I felt the host was under a lot of pressure to serve breakfast as everyone seemed to arrive at once. Perhaps employ someone else as well at that time.
I would have liked to have learned more about the historic side of the home.

We loved our stay! Our room was clean and cozy. The property was beautiful. The location was perfect for us. We used the bike trail to walk to town each day. It was about a 20 minute walk, which was perfect for my husband and myself, and our toddler. There is also a beautiful park with a playground and small beach right across the street.
Everything was great!

Incredibly charming, very comfortable, well furnished and enjoyable place to stay. The owner Jeanette and her family went out of their way to make sure every need was taken care of: ultra comfy bed, delicious choices for breakfast , beautiful grounds and amenities. Definitely one we will return to and recommend to others!

The property was very charming. Staff more than willing to help. Made us feel welcomed and comfortable.
House is on a main street that is busy. Signage hidden by greenery.

Great decor, adorable rooms. Very cute, very cozy.
Food wasn’t anything to write home about, the bathrooms are cute, but toilets are a bit low

The location was perfect for the ferry bus for Martha's Vineyard. Just a short walk and the bus will take you to Woods Hole ferry terminal.

I, my mother, and two friends stayed here this past weekend. We were completely and happily surprised to find out the “cottage suite” was an actual cottage, attached to the house, for ourselves. I love both a sense of privacy and like we’re not bothering other travelers. My mom loves country/cottage things and couldn’t stop taking pictures of the rooms. Oh and the bathroom was huge! Jeanette, the innkeeper, was lovely as well. She was friendly and attentive and never felt intrusive.

Excellent continental breakfast with home baked goods. Restaurants in Falmouth are great. Room was quiet. Bike path connects to property. Winter golfing at Olde Barnstable was good.

Good base from which to explore Cape Cod in the fall via car. House was very comfortable and quiet. Staff was helpful and informative. Beverages and breakfast set up the day. Short trip and weather limited amount of walking and biking, but bike path looked promising to access and explore.

Great location for walking and biking, access to beaches and town. Lovely breakfast.
Gift shop was closed, and bikes were difficult to access and not in good repair, though usable.

Easy access to Ferry shuttle and Shining Sea Bike Trail. Adorable cottage.
Finding property from the road was a little difficult. Starting breakfast at 7 instead of 8:30 would be good.

Quaint New England charming cottage, very friendly, convenient location. Comfortable.

The breakfast was wonderful though I do think the hot breakfast should’ve been included in the price since we paid almost $500 for one night. The coffee was amazing! And the bed was so comfortable!!

The hostel is beautiful and very well maintained. The owners were very welcoming and even agreed to lend us a parasol from their garden table to go to the beach. They also give us logs to make a fire. We really enjoyed the place !
There is no recycling since the owners seem to pay for the service. Codes to enter the room could be emailed rather than printed on paper.

Lovely lovely inn. We feel so specialy staying here as the place is well decorated and makes you feel like home. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Location is convenient as its only a few steps away from a nice breakfast restaurant and few minutes drive from downtown. Will certainly visit again.

They call a king suite a tiny room with a king bed with a love seat squished up against the bed. The room was right near the entrance and breakfast area. And you can hear everything upstairs and the base of the bed is made of home made wood that I kept smashing my feet on because the room was so small - in a grand suite. It was a fine place but calling what I stayed in a suite is false advertising. And I didn’t see a single person that worked there. It was all self service with my envelope taped to the desk and I got there at 6 pm. Not midnight.

House was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Great location.
For the price, I would have expected more. I have stayed at many other B&B's, what was different at this one: was no water in the room (would have been nice after a long day of travel to have water in the room) and no home tour. What was most disappointing was fact that there was no HOT Breakfast included. B&B stands for Bed and Breakfast - we expected a nice, gourmet breakfast - not the continental breakfast that was included ($15 cost for hot breakfast of egg and bacon). In our 1 week trip to Maine & Massachusetts -this was the most expensive B&B. Needless to say, we had higher expectations.

We were only there for one night and we were sort of in transition to somewhere else and it fulfilled our needs exactly. The room / house had lots of small personal touches that made it interesting.
Our room was at the front. The road was busier than I expected, but there wasn't so much that it bothered us during the night.
