How tidy and clean the cottages were. Very thoughtful in what tenants may need and addresses concerns before I asked.

The location is unbeatable if you want to explore Solvang. It is relatively new property in excellent condition and management clearly built a long-lasting and well-appointed property. The grounds are beautiful, with many people stopping along the street to take photos. Even with a front cottage facing the street, this was not annoying.

The property description states there is no on-site management. In fact, there is no visible management. Our only issue during our stay was that we connected to Wi-Fi but it had no Internet access. As small business owners, even vacations are accompanied by laptops and some amount of work online, so this was important to us. After reporting the situation (by email, our only option) nothing changed. Upon follow-up inquiry, we were told the router had been reset. The next day I again asked for an update, with no response that day. I still had no Internet access across five different devices. The next day, after receiving check-out instructions for the following morning, I received a response apologizing that the Internet issue hasn't been resolved, that the router had been reset both days of our stay, and that management was unsure what else to do "as our other cottages have not reported an issue." During our stay, we saw few other people and have no idea if they even tried to access the Wi-Fi - it appeared they arrived one afternoon and departed the next morning. Clearly our problem was unsolved and the communication was unhelpful. I have no information if Internet access was confirmed by management after each reset, which would have been the logical thing to do as well as to report this to me. We left after our three-night stay using only our mobile phone hotspots and several frustrating hours attempting to troubleshoot the issue. This would not affect me staying again in the future, but I would insist on this being corrected and confirmed at check-in or demand resolution.

Location of cottages in town , our cottage faced the alley and was very quiet and made shortcuts to town nice. Cottage was set up very nice and had everything we might have needed. Would be great to reserve all 4 units for a family reunion etc. Cottages have nice porches and outdoor seating with plenty of well kept landscaping. Definitely will go again.

Really cute location! We had coffee on the front porch in the mornings and they even had a welcome gift for us, a Danish pastry and handwritten card.

The only downside is there’s no fan/vent in the bathroom and you can hear everything someone is doing in there

Location is exceptional close to everything. We would go wine tasting in the evening without worrying about uber or driving. The cottage had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

That fact we didn't spend much time in it.

Spacious, clean, well equipped, location. Communication with management in advance was timely and helpful.

Good size, comfortable, parking, host left coffee cake, snacks and water. Central to everything.

The location was perfect. It was right in the middle of town, but it was still quiet. I loved the patio. The place was very clean as well. The bed was very comfortable. Best of all, the host was very responsive and friendly. The host left a Danish pastry for us upon arrival, and it was such a nice touch. We loved it!

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The cottage and the location is perfect. We didn’t even have to move our car. The cottage definitely is making us want to come visit Solvang at least two times a year. When everything was closed we sat on the porch talked and eating. The porch is fun for little ones. Instead of my daughter being stuck in a small hotel, she was able to walk and run around in the front. Everything was closed off with a gate so I felt comfortable.
