Great stay. Nicely furnished cottage, everything you need is there. a second toilet would still be good if you are a group.

We had a wonderful stay at Pebbledrift, only helped by fabulous weather. It’s a great upside down cottage, with parking space and garden, very well equipped for our needs. We made lots of use of the garden, a real sun trap, great for a for a glass of something in the afternoon sun! As a previous review said it did get very warm upstairs in the evening (skylight and ceiling fans helped) but the bedroom were lovely and cool. We did ‘people watch’ too through the large lounge window.
Brilliant time, can’t wait to return. Thank you

Excellent cottage, excellent location
Charlestown is a very pretty village and the cottage is centrally located - approx 1 minute walk from a Pub (which served great food)! The cottage had everything you would need, spotless and the open plan upstairs was a great area - especially with the large window where you could 'people watch' . I left some clothes behind and David went the extra mile to make sure they were returned to me. Thoroughly recommend Pebbledrift if you're in Cornwall.

This is the 2nd visit to Pebbledrift and again, a wonderful stay in fabulous accommodation. Everything you need and cleanliness great. Location couldn’t be better, especially with its own parking space - which is like gold dust!!

Pebbledrift Cottage was an excellent place to spend a week. It was clean, comfy and well-equipped and really well located for walks, cycle rides and trips to the beach. Being a 1 minute stroll from Charleston Harbour and its pop-up bars and restaurants was a joy and the more mundane necessities such as Tesco were extremely convenient too. We hope to return and would certainly recommend.

Situated in a small courtyard of 8 cottages., few steps to all the amenities of Charlestown Harbour. Walkable to beach. Private parking space. Light, airy and modern open plan kitchen/dining living room is on the upper level. Very well equipped. Excellent water pressure ensures a good shower. Lovely sunny courtyard garden. Couple of minor niggles reduced our rating from 5 to 4 star: Lack of modern SMART TV so can't access Netflix, BBC iplayer etc,; bathroom gets rather musty as no opening window and ineffective fan - very thin towels too; lack of some basic provisions such as salt and pepper and washing machine powder, which are usually provided with rentals. All issues easily rectified and did not detract from our stay overall.

Great location and very comfortable cottage in central Charlestown
Spent a week here and instantly liked it when we walked in. Very clean, fresh and welcoming. Very close to several restaurants and pubs in Charlestown with a 2 minute walk to the sea. Well equipped and bright interior with own car parking space. The only slight downside to the cottage is that it did tend to get a little warm upstairs in the kitchen and living area although the host does provide a number of fans. The downstairs bedrooms were in contrast nice and cool.

Pebble drift cottage - Charlestown
Perfect for a family of 4 (kids 12 & 15), 200 metres from Charlestown Hub. Easy parking. Supermarkets less than a mile away. We used it as a base to travel to other parts of Cornwall including Tintagel (60mins), Gwithian beach (60 mins) and Lizard (1hr 20). Eden project 10 mins away.

Lovely cottage
We had a great week in Pebbledrift cottage which was as lovely as the photos suggested. It was immaculately clean and equipped with everything that we needed. We made full use of the little garden and appreciated the parking space as the village got very busy. Location was great; we were able to walk to a supermarket and bakery as well as access the coastal paths, and being close to the A road meant easy drives further afield. Charlestown itself is extremely pretty with plenty of venues for eating. It did get very busy and wasn’t the sleepy harbour village we had imagined! However we had amazing weather so this may have contributed to its popularity.
We would definitely recommend Pebbledrift as a perfect holiday base.

A delightful cottage
Pebbledrift Cottage was everything we hoped for during our wonderful week in Charlestown. The accommodation was spotless and were delighted to find a Cream Tea waiting on arrival! The restaurants in the Harbour provide something for everybody and some much needed refreshment after long walks along the coastal paths. We highly recommend Pebbledrift to everyone!

An excellent cottage in a unique Georgian port.
We have stayed at Pebbledrift many times and always feel welcome there.
The clean, well appointed cottage has private parking and is very convenient for all of Charlestown’s attractions.
The Eden Project is very near, as are many other towns and Cornwall’s capital city, Truro.
An excellent cottage which we hope to visit many more times.

Very relaxing break in gorgeous coastal cottage
My husband, 2 kids and I had a really lovely time in Pebbledrift Cottage. We were welcomed on arrival at the cottage with fresh scones, cream and jam and appreciated the cleanliness and peacefulness of the cottage from the onset.
We were very lucky with the weather and could enjoy some time down on Charlestown beach which is only a few minutes walk away and also on nearby Porthpean beach. We sampled some local mussels and Cornish beers and cheeses which were all easy to come by.
Pebbledrift Cottage is an ideal location for both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project, both of which were a huge success with all the family. Thank you David and Trish for welcoming us in your home.

Brilliant location, perfectly equipt and a beautiful tasteful decor.
For anyone staying in Charlestown for the first time this is a great location. Private parking and great accommodation. All the facilities you want to make your stay a home from home. Problem is you don't want to leave once you get settled in there. We had a really great time. The beds are comfy, the upstairs open plan living space is well designed and the private courtyard at the side is great to chill with a glass of vino. loved it.

Beautiful Place near the Sea
We had a fantastic week in Pebbledrift - the location is great: 2 minutes walk from the harbour and the local shops, restaurants and pubs and close enough to St Austell and the main roads to get out and about.
Pebbledrift itself is a great place to stay. It has been impeccably and tastefully decorated throughout - the upstairs kitchen/living area was well laid out and fully equipped (although it could get a little warm during the day). Downstairs the beds were comfortable and the shower powerful.
There's a nice little private courtyard outside which is a bit of a suntrap, so perfect to relax in.
All in all, we'd definitely recommend Pebbledrift. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

peaceful family holiday
Amazing place to call home for our half term break in cornwall with 9yr old and 4yr old. Everything you could possibly want in kitchen, including poach pods, salt, pepper, oil etc. Also thoughtful touches such as iron/ hairdryer and clotted cream and scones on arrival ! Bedrooms on ground floor so cooler than kitchen/ dining area, but everything you could need. Even outside area ... lovely bbq on one evening!! Close to 2 supermarkets and all the cornwall attractions only 30mins away. Lovely break!

Superb location, very comfortable modern cottage.
Very comfortable quiet location, in the heart of Charlestown, yet just set back enough of the road to be peaceful. We liked the upside down living, which made the lounge and kitchen airy and light. Every thing we needed was in the cottage, even a welcome cream tea. Even condiments, sauces, washing up liquid etc. all very thoughtful.
