Charming, friendly and cozy small-town hotel.

The staff was nice and the bed comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable, and I had a nice view out the back/courtyard of the hotel looking into the hills. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. I also like having a water cooker for my tea, and the windows were nice and big so you could open them and get a breeze. The room was of a larger size than some in Europe.
The furnishings were a little bit older but not in bad shape. I gladly switch that out for a lower price on my hotel bill.

The lady on the desk reception on the thursday morning of our stay was unhelpful when we enquired about a phone call to our next hotel which was subject to a problem travelling to owing to a short notice strike on the railways on the friday. She said she was much too busy to help but took no interest in our problem. She wore glasses and was middle aged.

The hotel is located in a very strategic area, close to the House of Bach, with easy access to all places of interest in the town. Breakfast is well served. They also have a great Dominican restaurant in the building, which we visited 2 times - given how great it is.
We were first put in a room with transparent glass door in the toilet, which we found very awkward. We asked, and we were promptly moved to another room - which was fine.

historic surroundings and walking distance to the cultural sightseeing locations
one bed room towards patio was quite noisy and not a very good insulation toward neighbouring rooms. at breakfast no offers for plant based drinks or spreads (i.e. soydrink oatdrink or similar)

Barman was very unpleasant person. Hardly speaking. Never heard of the words "please" or "thank you". Did not return change (money) voluntary. Making a big quarrel with another client, including shouting and screaming. Big shame for this hotel!

There was exceptional view to the city by room 301. Staff were quite polite and there was a good breakfast. Very comfortable travel. There was not any difficulty in bruckracy or paper works. Very near to sightseeing.
Internet was out of reach or weak. No facility to go to wc or bath. We had to go inside with pure foot.
