Everything was really great. The reef infront of the hotelwas great for snorkeling (even saw a turtle). The employees where really nice and always very helpfull. The food was also very good. All in all it definitely exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful time in this very lovely place. The hotel is located right at the beach and consists of roughly 12 bungalows and a main building with seating and lounging areas. The rooms are very clean, well equipped, in good condition and are serviced carefully daily. The exterior is also good in shape and the infinity pool is just amazing, including the comfortable sun beds around the pool area and close to the pool and beach. The breakfast was amazing and they even prepared meals for special diets. The banana pancakes were delicious as well as the fresh juices. They also had a very good additional menu card for food throughout the whole day with starters, smoothies, desserts, western & thai dishes, burgers, grilled meat/fish as well as pasta. The fresh food was always very good, rapidly served, well composed & decorated. All that wouldn’t be possible without the people doing their job with such a passion, friendliness and enthusiasm. We immediately felt at home, had a wonderful time to relax and felt part of being in the “salad hut family”. At the same time they stroke very well the balance between acting professionally as well as feeling included in that entire setting. Many thanks again for all that you have done for us, that hotel and the service we received has exceeded our expectations and we can strongly recommend this place to others.

We loved this hotel. Small in size but has everything one needs- quality accommodations, good food, friendly staff, great location. Even the non beachfront rooms are just a stones throw from the beach and have balconies with beach views, unlike almost every other property on Haad Salad. That said, choose the deluxe beachfront villa (pictures in photos) or two bedroom beachfront (for family) if available - these two are clearly the best rooms on salad beach!! We began our stay in the family bungalow— nice but very tight for two adults and two young children, since there is almost no luggage space and also the step down to bathroom was dangerous. Breakfast is very good, so good in fact that guests at other hotels come here (in part for the excellent Gaggia Italian super automatic coffee machines).

A little expensive for the property type but we still thought it was a good value by American standards (maybe not by Thai standards). Lack of storage in the rooms meant we lived out of suitcases- a bit messy. You have to request housekeeping each day- seems like the default should be the opposite. You need to book your own tours- staff do not know anything about snorkeling or hiring boats (in a harbor filled with boats) and do not have gear to rent or borrow.

maybe a bit far to shops for those that would like to live close to village. if you are more beachlife person you will find everything here

First the location is really great, located just by the sea. The staff is super friendly and helps you for anything you need. The bungalow was gorgeous and super clean. Bed was super good and food was delicious. Really a super nice place to stay. I recommend 100%!!
