The outdoor environment was well maintained with lush gardens and flowers.

Time for breakfast very brief.

I had an important meeting and needed some printing done for the next morning the giuy at recepettion was so helpfull and printed it all off for me for no charge I offered and he refused so refreshing he was so helpfull even helped me with the content thank you i was so gratefull.

The grounds were fantastic, I'd love to go back solely to see it.

Hotel was very dated inside, definitely needed some renovation.

Breakfast was an improvement after the experience of the evening meal.

I emailed ahead for 13 of us to sit together for the evening meal. Didnt get a reply. I asked again at check in, was told 'we don't do this'. We approached staff for the same again when we turned up at the restaurant. Yes, they'll put some tables together. Again, it didnt happen so we did it ourselves! Evening meal: roast beef was tough as leather, no fresh vegetables, frozen carrots and very pale looking french beans. There was a white looking dish, turns out it's a nice chicken in white sauce. Nothing is labelled so you have no idea! Salad was shredded lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers plus pickles. Dessert was 2 gateaux , previously frozen type. I get the impression that not a lot of cooking happens in the kitchen

All round shocking experience. Facilities very old and dated. £7 for shoddy Wi-Fi, £4 for a dated pool. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, and I travel for ALOT!

Photos looked good on the internet, once inside it’s very dated. Maybe get the 60 minute makeover team in

Breakfast and evening meal was OK, although very limited choice. Swimming pool was nice

Seriously uncomfortable bed, hard and thin mattress, not able to sleep on it. Tired and dated decor. Spa bath bot working, with controls removed. Missing plug in sink, so not able to shave. Lamps in room not working. WiFi would not work, despite asking 4 times for a working code. Curtains in room were 3 inches short so sunlight flooded into room and we were unable to sleep. Very noisy, slamming door throughout the night, no sound proofing in the room. Unhelpful reception team, no info given about meals, facilities, WiFi and failed to get back to us regarding the paid WiFi. Very limited choice of food at evening meal especially veggie options including at breakfast.

Breakfast and location were very good, beautiful grounds and hotel and bar were lovely

Room very dated but lovely and clean, would have preferred a shower rather than a bath , only 1 towel between 2 and nothing to bath or wash hands with, apart from that was fine

Great location for the Coventry arena. Just what we needed. Clean room. Tea and coffee. Really good shower. Good price.

Grounds and location

extremely shabby, especially the bathroom. only one bath towel and one hand towel between the three of us. Wood rotting away, tiles cracked and dirty. Toilet seat very loose.

The breakfast was the only thing that let the night down just didnt seem as good as the last time i stayed but will still come again

The room and bed was very comfortable. Hotel was spacious and the grounds were nice.

Free wi fi was intermittent and I could not get a phone signal on my mobile The shower was basic and there was no rubber mat to stand on The dinner was canteen food

The whole place is a dump. Looks like overlook hotel from the shining. Gym was closed (main reason I stayed there) and rooms are dusty and dirty. Up all night sneezing dust and noisy guests waking me. Never again

Spa was dirty jacuzzi was broken there was also a charge for the spa that we were unaware of the bar prices were very expensive . the room had stains over the furniture and the bedding and the walls. the bathroom had tiles broken, toilet roll was wafer thin there was a cigarette burn in the bath with no slip mats for the shower. We had a broken lid on the kettle which is a hazard.the corridors were full of people's food rubbish left outside doors for the whole duration of our stay. Dirty plates piled high in the dining room the tables were not clean there was hardly any food choice what there was was disgusting and looked like it been frozen. We did not eat anything. Lack of choice there was no fresh coffee available the bread looked like it was stale overall cleanliness was disgusting could not wait to get out of there.
