We were absolutely overwhelmed by the surrounding nature. The huge capacity of the well maintained house was a delightful plus. The heating system and some toilets were renovated and functioning well. A fully equipped kitchen was so handy but it would have been nicer if there were scissors. (add seasonings as well when you do groceries; they provide salt and pepper) They have a new washing machine and a drier (you need to bring laundry detergent), mini games for kids. The little ponies and donkeys outside were so friendly. It was a really nice holiday and I highly recommend this place to anyone who is bringing the family with.

Everything! Heartland Hideaway is in a beautiful, quiet location. The property and the home are very well presented and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The games room is great to entertain the kids (small and big!) and the animals in your very own backyard are incredible. We can't wait to come back!

The only thing myself and my kids didn't like about Heartland Hideaway was that we couldn't stay longer!

Outdated interior

The location was ideal as a central base for exploring the island. We loved the surroundings and the farm animals on site. It was a great venue for our 2 families with plenty of room for the adults and kids. Thanks!

We are 3 couples. When we booked it was advertised as 3 bathrooms there are only 2. We expected 3 double beds. There were 3 but the 3rd is in the shed with no bathroom facilities. It needs to be clearer in the advert what is in the main house and what is in the shed. Also the house at this time of the year is very cold and there is no heating in the bedrooms and the heaters in the ensuite did not work.
