La casa es muy bonita, cómoda y limpia. El desayuno es delicioso y abundante. Lo mejor es la atención de Juan Carlos, muy amable y siempre pendiente de lo que necesitáramos y con muy buenas recomendaciones de planes y restaurantes.

Juan Carlos is a super host

Everything was AMAZING. The best hotel we've stayed in Colombia! The room was nice and clean, also smelled so nice 😍 Juan was the best host we could imagine - very helpful, it felt like home. Breakfast was also amazing. Area is very safe and beautiful.

Super friendly host, speaking slow Spanish or English - always helpful with a big smile. Greatly decorated and clean room, bathroom and very nice garden. We felt very well, it was comfortable, quiet and just three minutes walk from the main Plaza.

First and probably the most important, Juan Carlos is someone dedicated to his guests, trying his utmost to help you get the best experience of Barichara.. Great tips for restaurants, hikes, sunsets, sports adventures... The house is lovely and peaceful, it is a typical colonial house in Barichara.. I especially enjoyed the room, great atmosphere with a hundred years of history (but still comfortable though). Last, the breakfast was delicious, it was fantastic to enjoy it in the patio of the house, right next to that great old tree. Memorable experience :)

Have traveled extensively and rate the Casa Raisol one of the best places to date. Apart from the excellent room and facilities, our host, Juan Carlos could not have been more friendly, accommodating or helpful. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Shower nice and hot. A delightful breakfast with fresh fruit, juice and eggs was a great way to start the day. The location was great. A very short walk to the main square. Always made to feel like it was our home away from home. Terrific value. If you are considering where to stay in Barichara, I strongly urge you to look no further than the Casa Raisol.

This was our favorite place to stay during our 7-week trip in Colombia. Barichara is a charming town and we were happy to have found Casa Raisol. The location was a few short minutes from the main plaza of town where the bus drops and pick up. We arrived very late due to traffic and Juan Carlos was waiting for us, and he even walked with us to find dinner that evening. He was thoughtful and we felt like we were staying at the home of a stylish friend rather than a B&B. The tips about where to go and what to do were very helpful. We enjoyed starting off the morning at a leisurely pace, enjoying the beautiful garden and (of course!) the delicious breakfast. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Barichara. The hot water was a bit difficult to balance at times, but in Barichara hot water was a special luxury (and not a necessity.)
