The location is excellent within sight of the east coast with the breeze keeping the place feeling not too hot. The self catering facilities were excellent and the hosts were very accomodating with any extra requirements for us or our 2 year old daughter at no additional cost. The property also has a large veranda surrounded by tropical plants and a view of the pool.

Away from the main tourist area. Single occupancy. Had sole access to nice pool. Gardens were amazing. Nice verandah to sit on and eat your meals. Water quality of the pool was good throughout our stay. Air conditioned bedroom. kitchen well equipped. Easy to self cater. Local well stocked supermarket. BBQ available. Near to the Airport. 30 mins or less to all the major west coast beaches. Host were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Genuinely wanted your stay to be as good as it could be. This trip far exceeded our expectations. Ideal place for a total chill out vacation.

Nothing other than having to go home.

Only good things can be said about this place and the very fine couple who own it. Nick and Anthea were there to pick us up at the airport when we arrived and drove us back when we left. They made us feel like family all along and were very attentive to our needs. They even took us out for dinner and grocery shopping! We sampled fruit from their lush backyard, and the pool at our doorstep was a definite plus. We highly recommend this place!

As soon as we arrived at the airport we were greeted by Anthea and Nick and that hospitality continued throughout the holiday. They made our trip more special and meaningful, they made us feel so welcoming as if we were part of their family. They organised car rental, shopping, trips out and if we required information on anything they were very informative and knowledgeable. The pool house is a hidden gem, we spent many an hour sat by the pool or on the varander taking in the sunshine and scenery around us. The pool house is located near the sea so the beach trip was also visited regularly even though the sea is very rough so a sea swim was out of the question. We would definitely visit the pool house again and are planning our next visit already.

We liked it all there was nothing to dislike.

The previous reviews say it all but I cannot emphasise enough how Anthea and Nick really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome whilst giving you privacy. They are the most amazing and kind hosts who can’t do enough for you. If anything is missing from the well-equipped accommodation, just ask and it is usually available from the main house. Loved sitting on the wonderful pool house veranda which was a great spot to relax in the cooling breeze. It was overlooking the pool that is a great size for swimming and gardens full of flowers and wildlife. Foul beach is a 5-10 minute walk away and beautiful. Although rough for swimming, it was great for walking, sitting on the sand or paddling and we would usually have the beach to ourselves! Supermarkets and restaurants within 5-10 minute drive and also a few bars within walking distance so perfect for a relaxing holiday. Anthea and Nick arranged a great deal for car hire delivered to the house which enabled us to explore the rugged east and north coasts as well as visit the busier and more touristy west coast with ease before coming back to the peace and quiet of our own pool and veranda when ready! The pick up and return by Anthea and Nick to the airport took all the hassle out of arrival and departure If you’re looking for lots of lively nightlife and the expensive 5* resorts of the west coast then this might not be for you but if you want a wonderful place with 5* hosts to relax and unwind as well as easy access to explore all areas of Barbados then you will not be disappointed. One of those places you could definitely see yourself returning year after year - a truly fabulous holiday!

Having to say goodbye and leave our little piece of paradise!

What makes the place really unique is the extraordinary hospitality of its owners, two gorgeous dogs and a nearby beach which we found the most beautiful on the island :-) and also...a garden bath tub that gives you the chance of having a warm-water bath in a tropical greenery surrrounding - awesome experience :-)

The most incredible hosts we’ve ever had on our various trips abroad! Anthea and Nick typify the Bajan spirit and provided us with such a special time in Barbados. From cooking us some typical vegan Caribbean food to helping us about on the island, nothing was too much for them and we hope to return in future and will be recommending to friends and family! They also have 2 lovely and friendly dogs Coco and Lucky 😌

Clean, comfy, safe, tropical. The owners made the garden a small example of plant species of the Caribbean. They couldn’t have done more for us, even took me to the pharmacy when I had a sore mouth. The dogs were really friendly and reminded me of pooches back home. Thanks to Anthea and Nick, big hugs.

The property is very private with a large deck, private garden that’s a great place to top up your tan, and use of the pool. The hosts are absolutely amazing, and nothing is too much for them. It was my daughters 10th birthday during our stay and they through a bbq for us. We sat chatting every night and became friends. We were sad to leave. You can have privacy or socialising, it’s up to you.

Everything. The place was beautiful and spotless, the facilities were fantastic, the location was perfect, and above all the hosts Anthea and Nick were wonderful. Will 100% be recommending to anyone else visiting Barbados.

My friend and I had a great time staying with Anthea and Nick. They really made sure we were comfortable! They collected us at our first hotel and brought us back. They also gave us lots of advice about what to do and where to go and helped us rent a car which was comfortabally brought to the house. We also shared some drinks and interesting conversations. The house is very nice and comfortable, 10 minutes walk from a beautiful beach and the pool is great! Having a kitchen was very handy for us so we could cook because there are not many restaurants nearby. I really recommend staying with Anthea and Nick to everyone who wants a have a unique Barbados experience!
