La casa está rodeada por uno de los molinos medievales más antiguas de la ciudad vieja "iluminados", que toma su nombre y en la que se encuentra en la puerta norte de la ciudad de Amalfi.
Unas vacaciones en Amalfi está por encima de sol mar y la naturaleza y "CASA Chiarito", mientras que sólo diez minutos a pie del centro, sigue siendo tan sólo unos metros de los restaurantes, tiendas y atracciones que harán que su estancia sea perfecta.

Super clean property with a nice kitchen to cook some locally purchased, fresh seafood and pasta. Wash machine is helpful for a long trip! The house is perched amid some mountains and has an outdoor deck. So you can sit outside and be amazed at your surroundings. The location in Amalfi is perfect. The owners are very responsive and make you comfortable.

Roberto may be the nicest person on earth. Very accomodating. The apartment was clean and modern and fit out family of 5 just fine. Its a 10 minute walk up the hill from the piazza in amalfi, which kept us active. We walked up and down multiple times a day to get coffee, lunch, dinner, shopping, etc. its away from the crowds and a nice quiet area. There are a bunch of steps up which was already noted in other reviews. There was one minor drawback and that is that the kitchen could be better stocked for cooking, we found that we would have liked some better choices for bowls, cutting boards, and dishes, and the spice selection was lacking, but it certainly did not inhibit us from enjoying a great meal and I am sure 99% of the people go out to eat anyway, but we decided to cook in one night. Theres an awesome wood fired BBQ outside that we cooked steaks on from the local butcher, and roberto got us charcoal which was very nice. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay a few minutes out of town from the action and noise, and is looking for something affordable in a very expensive part of italy. This property was perfect. We had total access to an outdoor courtyard, a great breeze through the house and a stocked kitchen. The location was great and the host was extremely helpful and kind. Definitely recommend!

Casa Chiarito is beautiful, clean, and well appointed. The location is very near to the Duomo area. Our host, Roberto, was more than helpful. He made sure at all times that we were comfortable and had all the information we needed to have a memorable time. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Casa Chiarito is indeed a very peaceful and comfortable two bedroom home that reveals the expert craftsmanship and attention to detail that is a trademark of its caring and attentive owner, Roberto. We immediately felt at home and relaxed in the beauty of the surrounding hills while also enjoying the immediate proximity of the historic town of Amalfi. In addition, Roberto took the time to answer all of our questions about the fascinating history of the area and we left with a sense of having a far better understanding of its people and culture.

From beginning to end, this stay exceeded all expectations! Our host guided us through the drive to the property and met us there. We had beautiful views from every window, patio and balcony. We rented garage space (highly recommended) and walked everywhere. The best part was our hike to the nature trail and falls. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Roberto; we’ll be back.

Pick up, chk in & chk out perfect communication. Home was very clean. We walked to Rovello and did the lower garden worth the entrance fee. There is another garden above but we did not want to do more stairs having done the walk fr Amalfi. But per my cousin & Roberto the one above Villa Rufolo even better, Rufolo was beautiful. Amalfi all excellent and host excellent!

Arriving in Amalfi can be stressful with so much going on. However, we were greeted at the port and driven up to our place making us feel special and at home. The house is just far away enough to not be immersed in the tourist area but close enough to reach everything worth seeing. Hosts are amazing, and very kind. The views are once in a lifetime Mountain Views. I cannot suggest this stay enough for a get away to paradise!

We stayed at Casa Chiarito for 2 nights and loved it. The views were amazing and it was just a short walk down the hill to the shops, restaurants and sea. Roberto and Antonella were very pleasant and Roberto was always available before and during our stay to answer any questions we might have. The house was very clean and it was nice sitting under the lights at night in the garden.

Beautiful home in neighborhood just past the main Amalfi tourist area. So easy access to everything but quiet and peaceful. Very close to Amalfi Lemon Experience where we did a cooking class- highly recommend doing this if you have the opportunity. Functional kitchen, comfortable sleeping and so nice to have 2 bathrooms for 2 couples.
Lovely outdoor seating area. The cliffs overlooking the home are amazing. Watching the moon rise was magical.

Located in a quiet area, it is easily accessible and not too far from the Main Street and beach. The hosts were always available and answered all of our questions within seconds of receiving my messages. They’re also polite and very nice.

The house was exactly as listed, on the main road but a bit of a walk from the busy area. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The large yard was wonderful for morning coffee, sunbathing and a glass of wine in the evening. Roberto was an incredible host, he took us to his gardens and showed us how he grows lemons, he gave us many lemons and also delicious fresh tomatoes and lettuce from the garden. Roberto took us on a 3 hour hike to the waterfall where we were treated to incredible views and he showed us the ancient fern, the medieval bridge, the old paper mill and many other sites. He even treated us to fresh lemonade at the end of our hike. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Chiarita and highly recommended this property! The views were breathtaking, the host extremely generous and the stay was wonderful.

Very nice property, spotlessly clean. Our host Roberto was very welcoming and very proud of the uniqueness of Amalfi and the lemons grown there. We were sold, Roberto provided lemons as part of the service and they were something else.
Location was straight up from the main street running through the town, just far enough away that it was perfectly quiet at night. We loved it and would stay again if we get back to Amalfi, what a fantastic region and town.
Thank you to Antonella who met us at the dock and brought us up to the house, another lovely person that made us feel so welcome.

We loved Amalfi, and it was wonderful to have this quiet oasis 700 meters above the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist area. We enjoyed hikes, cooking in the apartment, and quiet rest and relaxation. Carmella and Roberto were both extremely helpful and pleasant. We will come back!

I was very impressed with the home. it was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner Roberto was extremely nice and responds very fast to anything you need. The location is perfect for an amalfi coast vacation. you can walk to the port in about 20 minutes and take a ferry to anywhere on the coast or to Capri very easy and convenient. This was our first time in Amalfi but it will definitely not be our last. I cannot say enough good things about the house and the owner.

I can’t say enough good things about this house, location, owner Roberto and assistant Antonella. The location was magical (especially at night) and the photos doesn’t do it justice. The house is nestled between two cliffs/mountains at the edge of the main centre of Amalfi. It is quiet but close enough to the action. Lemon trees can be seen everywhere. Lemon trees adorn the pergola in the sitting area of the garden that has outdoor seating, dining area and BBQ. The inside of the house is very comfortable, exceptionally clean, well stocked and laid out. Our teens had their own room with single beds, their own bathroom and sitting area. A door between their area and the kitchen, second bathroom, and a master bedroom afforded us all some privacy and separation when needed. Antonella met us at the pier and led us to the house showing us local amenities along the way. Roberto brought us lemons and plums from his garden and shared some laughs with us. We visited many places on the Amalfi coast and this house, location and the people of Amalfi made this our favourite stop in Italy.

This property worked so well for our stay in Amalfi! While it is a decent walk up the hill from the center of town, this location has a lot to offer. First, the distance from town center gets you away from the noise and crowds that we experienced in June. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very authentic Amafi - not touristy. Second, the very large outdoor patio area more than doubles the amount of space available with fantastic views up and down the valley. I could have sat out there all day marveling at the surroundings. Third, if you are interested in hiking, the location provides easy access to the path up into Valle delle Ferrierre, a lush valley with many waterfalls and interesting ruins to explore. Lastly, our hosts Roberto and Antonella were very helpful and so friendly. We highly recommend this place!

A relaxing stay in the high end of Amalfi, about a 10 -15 minute walk from the port . A Lovely outdoor area of the accommodation , with extremely helpful hosts .
A small local bus runs up and down from the centre of the town if you don’t feel like walking .

The house is located about 10 -15 minutes (depending on your walking abilities) from the center of Amalfi. It is well laid out, and very clean. We met both Roberto and Antonella who were always available and willing to help with anything you need. The house is not far from the center but there are stairs to climb once you get there. The setting is beautiful as it is quiet with lots of outdoor space to relax. It is located close to the Paper Museum and the Valle delle Ferriere for hiking and outdoor activities.

We loved the properties location; a short walk to the heart of Amalfi but far enough from it to enjoy the tranquility in the evening. The property was in immaculate condition. We were so busy we didn’t get to enjoy the lovely garden area.

Great location Appreciated that Carmela met us at the ferry and led us to the house. The owner came immediately when we had a question about the washer and he gave us some beautiful lemons.

This was a perfect place for a family visiting Amalfi. We were met by Carmela as we drove in and she explained everything. There was coffee and snacks, and the host came by and let us know we could pick lemons and rosemary from the garden (tomatoes were out of season unfortunately). The property is very spacious and having 2 bathrooms was great. Short walk into town, where you can catch ferries to anywhere on the coast. If you drive a rental car, you will need to make arrangements to park it in the garage about 25m away. You will not be able to park along the road.
Extra charge for using AC (and heater) is nominal.

Roberto went out of his way to pick us up at Naples airport (extenuating circumstances) for a nominal fee returned us to the airport. We had lots of laughter with him, hosts very attentive to any needs or ?s we had. Nice welcome basket. Very clean & wonderful spaces. Amalfi terrific to spend the Holidays in!

Everything was just perfect for the four of us. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and located in a lovely quiet area ten minutes’ easy walk from the centre. The layout was ideal with a lounge, two shower rooms, two bedrooms and a kitchen/dining room. A lot of care has gone into equipping the apartment which is very tastefully decorated, and the huge private outdoor patio area was very welcome. Roberto our host was very attentive and Antonella was most helpful too. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this apartment for a lovely stay in Amalfi.

The home was clean and perfect location. You can Island hop to the beautiful Towns/Islands like Positano, Capri or even up to Naples for the Day. The home was perfect for a family of 4-5. Thankful that the owners husband picked us up at the Ferry, so we did not need a pull luggage up the BIG Hill/Mountain. Roberto was Very Kind and thorough with Instructions and suggestions.

What a special place! The location was out of the way from the chaos of tourist, but a 10-minute walk and you were in the heart of Amalfi. The views were amazing, and the property managers were very friendly I wish I had more time to speak with Antonella. Hope to stay here again on my next visit to Amalfi.

Very well presented on arrival, and homegrown welcome pack of tomatoes, lemons etc.. was lovely. Enjoyed relaxing on the sun loungers and eating at the various outdoor tables. We didn't mind the walk uphill deeper into Amalfi. Amalfi is great, with it's beaches and tunnel through to Atrani. Also great for catching buses and boats to other villages along the coast. The coast is great for lots of walks between places, including 'Path of the Gods'.

A wonderful experience in our first time at the Amalfi coast! The owner, Roberto, stayed in great contact through WhatsApp and picked us up from the main square to drive us to his house. Roberto is a super host, very welcoming and thoroughly showed us every part of his home. It was very clean and confortable, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioner, which was very nice to have in the hot summer. Roberto had brought a welcome gift of lemons from his own garden and water. The beds were firm and comfortable. If we have the opportunity to come back to Amalfi I will contact Carmela and Roberto and stay at their place again! Thank you!

To be honest I can’t say enough about this home. If it’s available for the dates you want book it quick as in my opinion it couldn’t have been more perfect. The owner, Roberto, stayed in great contact through WhatsApp and helped us arrive with no problems at all. He greeted us upon arrival and Antonella took us up the stairs to the house. As everywhere in Amalfi of course there were steps - but it is so worth it!! The pictures do not fully prepare you for the stunning canyon views in every direction! Antonella was the kindest host, very welcoming and thoroughly showed us every part of the home. It was absolutely immaculate and much larger than we expected, fully equipped kitchen and Roberto had brought a welcome gift of cookies, coffee and lemons from his own garden. The beds were firm and comfortable and there are beautiful sky windows over the bed so you wake up to canyon views or can be closed to block morning sun if you prefer. If we ever have the opportunity to come back to Amalfi I will do everything I can to set our dates around the availability of this home! Thank you!!!

We loved our stay. Listing is very accurate, though pictures don’t do justice to the valley views (no sea views, but you don’t need them). The Valle delle Ferriere view and hike are right there—Best hike on the coast, especially if you love exploring ruins (for this, mill ruins), going in a waterfall (not the protected one), listening to water, sweeping sea views, shade :), and a lemonade stand just when you need it.
The place is comfortable; we really enjoyed relaxing and eating on the patio. I liked that it was away from the bustling area and was more like staying at a friend’s home with local neighbors. There were still noises that could wake you if a light sleeper like me.
People comment about the steps—there are only a couple flights to the flat, and the rest to get there is the gentle slope up the Main Street. I’m 55, in average shape, and it was not anything to fuss about.
I think we paid 50 Euros for the AC, and we used both units every evening/night, 6 nights.
Antonella and Roberto were very friendly and helpful—great hosts!

Absolutely amazing
You won't find a better and more clean place in all of Amalfi. I wish whoever does the cleaning would come do mine. :) The location is gorgeous and perfect. Quiet at night and the AC is first-rate. This was a perfect spot for my five friends to stay.
