Irina and Michalis were great hosts. They were always available to answer your questions. Plenty of bath towels and swimming pool towels were provided. The house, location and view was fantastic. From your terrace you look down over the village and the mountains in the distance. It was wonderful to have a solitary morning or evening swim in the pool, and in the evening sit on the terrace and watch the sun sink over the horizon. The guests in the three other houses respected each others privacy (no parties/no loud music) so it was a perfect location for a quiet, relaxing holiday. A well stocked supermarket is 5 minutes walk from the house, and although the local Taverna looked very basic, the meals were superb. Irina and Michalis, thank you very much. We would love to come back again, and we recommend Artemida Traditional Homes to anybody wishing to have a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Was met by the host at 2am after flight delayed with a fresh Greek Salad and cold beer. Would highly recommend this property to anyone wishes a relaxing, scenic and comfortable holiday in Crete.

Michalis was very accommodating having experienced electrical problems with Artemida apartments. And so kindly offered us his private villa near Plaka. It was a dream! It had everything in abundance, fully equipped with private pool and beautiful outdoor space and incredible views. Easy to access shops, beach, stunning walks in the local area. Michalis was always on hand to help if we needed. Thank you once again Michalis for our wonderful stay and experience of Crete. We would 100% recommend staying at Michalis's accommodation.

Magic place: wonderful property in an exquisite location and warmly gentle owners. Unique 'taverna' at walking distance for a genuine taste of Crete's family cuisine.

Everything! Ingeles met us as soon as we arrived (even when the plane had to emergency land in Italy and we were around an hour and a half late!). Fruit and wine gifts and a brilliantly appointed villa (I've travelled all over the place for 30 years and never seen somewhere so clean and with everything needed for our stay). Pool and gardens were beautiful with a stunning canopied outside area complete with a barbecue & pizza oven! Our hosts were so helpful and kind nothing was a problem. They helped us with car hire and interesting places to visit. The village very close by (easy walk 10 minutes) has a taverna, well stocked shop, small children's play area and a village square with football /handball posts. Seaside is a short drive away, Blue flag beach wonderful swimming and snorkeling, tavernas and shops. We will be back!! 😍❤️

Everything was great! Hosts were extremely nice and helpful but also discreet. I think they are people for whom the other man and nature are the highest values, not money. It's a rarity these days. I recommend the facility to those that are looking for peace, quiet and contact with nature. The apartment itself was spacious and clean, and the hosts made sure that we felt at ease, comfortable and safe. It was the best place in Crete that we have ever been.
