I have stayed at the hotel four or five times now and found the food, position, plus the accommodation very good plus I love Guinness,,,, I will in time be moving to Ballina from the Riverina of NSW ...and will be a nightly vist or two for the meals which I found very good.....
Everything to me was just fine as it is now.

Liked the spacious renovated room. Only lacking a toaster
The before 5am wake up by noisy garbage trucks! Not only once but many times during this time period .

Fall was filthy - had to brunch my feet off before getting into bed

Stayed there a cupple of nights all staff were grate and very helpful and friendly
I can't say a bad thing about the place or the staff working there

The room had a strong unpleasant odour , I bought Glen 20 and sprayed but it did nothing for the odour. I know the room is basic but looking at a rusting refrigerator and wood rot in the cupboards does not help, a bad stain on the floor does not add to the experience.

Location, comfortable beds and pillows, good air conditioning, friendly and accommodating staff. Great for a short stay.
Missing some items in the kitchen, which were replaced when we mentioned it. Noise on the level above one morning.

A single sink in the kitchenette doubled up for the bathroom. Very unhygienic!

A microwave wouldn't have gone astray and the price of spirits in the hotel was a bit to high

Not a lot !!!
Cheap n nasty feel to it . Mould on the ceiling in the kitchen , bathroom n living room. I took photos as proof . Also , part of the ceiling was slightly damaged . I would not recommend this Hotel / Motel to anyone...disappointed!!!

There were no towels in the room I had to go and find someone to get some for us
There was no toilet paper in the toilet we had to find some
It was very cold and there was no blankets on the bed

mouldy, smelly and badly in need of a refurb. Noisy tradies talking loudly and smoking talking out the front at 6.30am
