We found the property to meet our needs overall. It was very pet friendly. As pet owners we tend to eat in most nights. We found the kitchen supplies somewhat lacking. A greater verity of glassware would have been nice and a larger selection of cookware. These are not show stoppers. The location is good and stores were close by. It was a nice neighborhood to walk our dog. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Ron was attentive to our needs.

We had an amazing stay in L.A. in this great house. It has everything you need and the greatest location. The freeway is very close and grocery shopping just a quick car ride. We can definitly recomment this House and would love to come back!

Communication with the owner is terrible. The shower cartridge broke while my 8 year old daughter was taking a shower. The shower was old and rusted. The owner blames us for it and claims that excessive strenght was used. Which is not true. Now, he would not return the security deposit. Not a good experience. We use Homeaway a lot and this is the first time it happened that something broke and the owner is not responding.

Needs some deep cleaning...shower hard to regulate don't get scalded! Very nice location. Easy check in and out.

I could not stay at the property due to the mold and that is when all communication with the owner stopped completely. He said the cleaning people would come out but you cannot clean mold like that with cleaning products. We really enjoyed our weekend stay but ran into a couple of really fixable problems. The biggest issue was lack of communication - the code for the door changed after our first night there and when we came back to the house at the end of the day, we were locked out. I called Ron several times and left messages and he never got back to me. We were able to reach inside the dog door to unlock it but him never responding bothered us a lot - what would we have done if we couldn’t have gotten in? There weren’t any simple amenities - there was less than a full roll of toilet paper. The couches need a major upgrade and the dishwasher was very, very loud. It’s a really great location and Ron was very nice and helpful when we spoke to him before the rental time but he didn’t respond to problems while we were there.

Beds were great! Overall comfy quiet neighborhood stay. Great location for our business trip. Living room furniture needs some help. Ron’s house is well situated and offers great access to many interesting places, like Santa Monica Beach, Museum of Tolerance, Fox movies, .. There is also easy food shopping close by. Unfortunately the house was not very clean when we got there, no kitchen towels, not enough towels in the bathroom, ... Ron tends to answer very late. We would have loved to get answers sooner in orderto be able to do a proper planning. All in all, it was ok though.

This property was on the perfect street! It was so close to everything and super quiet. The house was quaint and comfortable. Our family felt at ease and very safe hanging out and sleeping. We had a nice rainy day where we were able to stay inside and watch movies on the Roku. As stated it was super close to the beach and to Universal Studios.

This was a good house in a good location for the three of us. It was neat and clean with a very updated kitchen. Ron was helpful on the phone solving issues with the front door lock combination and Sling/Roku TV reception. We enjoyed our stay, but attention to the following minor repairs would have increased our rating to 5 Stars.... several of the window blinds need to be replaced... posts on the front porch are not attached to the floor(could be dangerous)... the garbage disposal runs, but has no teeth, so it does nothing... the dimmable lights in the living room flicker, probably indicating a poor electrical connection... the bathroom door handle fell off. If these minor things are fixed, we will definitely stay here on our next visit to LA.

The house was great for our first visit to LA. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice to have to cook in on the nights we did not want to eat out. The location of the house was great for all the things we had planned to do. Would stay here again if we come back to LA.

We had a great stay in West LA. Very close to the metro and freeway. House is a bit older but beds and kitchen utensils are in great condition.

My family had a great time staying at Ron's property. It was clean and cozy. It felt safe and was close to everything, my kids were able to walk about 3 blocks away to the train and take it to the Santa Monica Pier in no time! Close to UCLA and eateries, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I was travelling with two friends and we stayed in this 2 bedroom house and absolutely loved it. The location is great only 10 min by car from santa monica pier and it is located in a quiet nice little Street. Everything was super easy from check- in to check- out. We had no problems at all and would definitely stay here again. I can certainly recommend staying in the house.

Property was well presented. It is basic but had everything we needed and was convenient to our activities in LA. We didn't use the nearby public transport but it was close. I would be happy to stay here again. The owner responded quickly to our enquiries.
