Friendly staff (especially the cleaning/breakfast ladies and the security man were so lovely), comfortable beds, great location, delicious breakfast and a nice place to eat it, pool

The pictures on booking.com were great, but in real life the room looked different (in a negative way). We had no curtain in the shower so the whole bathroom was flooded and wet after every shower. We asked for a curtain or another room and the staff member told us that the cleaning ladies will solve the issue the next day. No one ever came and we learned from another staff member thar there are no curtains at all. Only a glare/very bright and uncomfortable light in the room (like in a hospital). Very noisy, especially in the mornings. The construction of a TV was there, but no TV. No cupboard or similar in the room. The second one who wanted to take a shower didn't always have hot water.

The location was just what we were looking for, nice and quiet. Thulani made the best breakfasts and Knowledge gave us good value cab rides. The swimming pool was small but refreshing.

The room had been freshly painted so it still smelled. Also, the hotel didn't send transportation for us to be picked up.

No bar or food apart from breakfast which was perfect, and was quite a distance from town reception was really helpful ordering taxis and telling you the correct prices . Knowledge and his wife taxi drivers were excellent and always bang on time

Location good But one thing am really disappointed have done payment twice n am still waiting for my refund 10days ago I claimed for it n management is still doing the process To take the fare it does not take that long. Y refunding is so slow.

Disappointed. Renovations happening but our room had not been done. It was sad and tired and not like the pictures. Toilet door got stuck in the night so had to get security to give us a key to the unit next door. 30sq metre room advertised. This seemed a lot smaller. Would stay in a renovated room if we returned but not in the old rooms.

Decent size room with a comfy bed. A good breakfast was included for our stay . Nice entertainment area and greenery near the pool area.

The renovation staff banging on the wall beside us in the morning. We were supposed to get the upgraded room with AC and garden views but there were more renovations for that block of rooms so we settled for a regular room.

No tvs in the rooms, too much cockroaches, flies and mosquitoes in the rooms. Kitchen wasn’t kept smart, shower rooms and toilets dirty. please next time give us proper information cos i checked in late thinking that I was going to eat my dinner there, only to be told that its B&B only. There were no coffee facilities and the shops are too far, I was traveling with kids and to tell them that they will eat the ext day it’s not fair at all

Pool was cold. There was no dinner facilities.

Nothing. I checked my family out after 1 night. What is advertised is not the reality that you find.

1. Rooms are sub standard and not maintained. Bathroom sink was brown and leaking, see attached pictures. 2. Advert says the room comes with a flat TV, it misses the part that they don’t work and when I asked, I was told that I’m on holiday, why do I need a TV! 3. Bathroom in room D2 was filthy with dirt in the shower and grout. Bath mat was threadbare and had turned white in certain places. I would not expect anyone in their right senses to use it. 4. Shower in room D3, wasn’t draining as I showered. I hope I haven’t picked up anything from it. 5. Bathrooms lacked basic things such as a glass or plastic to put tooth brushes in. There was nowhere to place the soap and no towel rails to hang towels. 6. Insect screen door on D2 has massive holes in it and therefore doesn’t keep any insects or mosquitoes out. 7. Swimming pool had green algae on the steps, although the lodge claims it is in use and my observation is incorrect. 8. Aircon in room D3 wasn’t working, although the lodge states that this is not correct and that we didn’t give them a chance to sort it. 9. Toilets lacked tissue holders, toilet paper was placed on the window ledge. My family checked out the following morning despite that we had booked for 3 months.

The rooms were clean and the staff was great
