CASA ANTIGUA CON TODAS LAS COMODIDADES, conocida históricamente como casa Montañez, en su estado actual el inmueble es fruto de las reformas que en el último cuarto del siglo XVIII realizó su propietario José Martín Carballo. De sus dos fachadas, la principal, hacia la calle Díaz Pimienta, presenta dos plantas, destacando la portada de cantería y las ventanas de celosía. Hacia la calle Doctor Santos Abreu, un acceso comunica con la zona de servicio y la otra conecta con el antiguo granero. En su interior, el inmueble se articula en torno a un zaguán y patio central de helechos, alrededor del cual se distribuye el  resto de habitaciones. Posee corredor acristalado y postigos en las ventanas que hacen las delicias de la buena conversación.


Traditional Canarian house with modern amenities, historically known as Casa Montañez. The existing property is the result of improvements carried out in the last quarter of the eighteenth century by the then proprietor José Martín Carballo. The main two storey facade on Diaz Pimienta Street features a carved wooden door with stonework surround and lattice windows.

There are two entrances from Doctor Santos Abreu Street, one that connects to the service area and the other to the old barn. In the interior, the rooms are arranged around the entrance hall and a large Canarian style courtyard. The wood and glass gallery and traditional shuttered windows also make for great conversation pieces.
