Easy to get to the lake and the bus, and the train not far away. Arrived early and they were kind enough to let us into our room. Helpful staff.

Noisy road when window open. No coffee machine as stated in ad, and toaster was a toasting machine. Shower temperature fluctuated and drained slowly. Kitchen tap loose.

Great location in the inner city, the old part of town has lots of character and is quaint, near lakeshore with many viby Restaurants.

Hand basin drain somewhat blocked. Mould in the shower. Needs a spring clean! Appartment 301 stipulated as not equipped with soundproof windows, yes it can get noisy.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and go to proper accommodation. The owner was unapologetic and was not hospitable at all regarding the many issues in the housekeeping in the room. First of all, the floor wasn't clean, the fan was so dusty it was unusable while the shower was clogged that the water didn't go down the drain fast enough. Initially, when I complained, they redid the housekeeping to very little difference. The drain still wasn't going down fast enough and the fan was still dirty. At this point, the owner came back to check but when I showed him the status and asked for a solution he told me "If you're looking for a 5 star hotel service, there's one down the street. I can call them for you. " I was taken aback by how unapologetic and inhospitable the host was. After contacting booking.com directly for a solution and a full refund, the host initially refused to refund. However, he came to our room around 1130pm, knocking on our and telling us he'd give us a refund and told us to leave. At this point, we were tired and just wanted to sleep, so I told him we'd just stay - to which he responded by saying, "Leave now, or the Swiss police will come." Needless to say, this was hands-down, the worst experience I've had in accommodation. The host told me that the room is half the price of any other accommodation in the area, so I shouldn't be expecting too much, but regardless of the price, the basic cleanliness of the room shouldn't be compromised and no traveler should be threatened to be called upon by the local police at 11pm.

The window facing the kitchen air-pipe just has to be kept closed. Food smell in the room. Cleaning to improve. Bathroom door did not get closed.

People were very friendly and they helped with any needs during the stay.

There was a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. It was clean and most importantly quiet, so that I could sleep! Considering most Air BnBs in the area are the same price I paid for the room, I prefer the room as it has a private bathroom. Most Air BnBs at this price have shared bathrooms.

It looked and smelt like a 1980s bedsit. The shower head was broken just where it joins the hose so I had to turn it around and shower with the water sprouting from the joint. There was only a tiny bit of toilet paper and no extra that I could see. Luckily, I did not have the runs. There was black mould in one corner of the bathroom ceiling and it didn’t have that cozy warmth when you entered.
